"Hello Detective Reed, I am model RK900, but you can call me Richard"

The Android stood formally by Gavin's desk, staring down at him with and emotionless expression.

"No way in hell am I giving you a name, tincan" Gavin sneered, putting his gaze on the laptop in front of him.

"Detective Reed, we have been assigned a case earlier today in regards to a Android jewelry heist"

Richard leaned down beside Gavin's chair, practically forcing their eyes to meet.

"Maybe we should start investigating?" Gavin huffed at the authority this Android had to give him instructions, but said nothing, it's not like it cared for what he had to say anyway.
Gavin haphazardly place the evidence files across his desk and allowed Richard to analyze them.

"It took place at 'Stephanie's Jewls' at 9am this morning, if we leave soon we could possibly find the perpetrator in the area"
The android adjusted his white collar and waited for Gavin to lift himself from his desk chair. With no recognition of Richard, he made his way out of the station and towards his car, slamming the door shut before the Android could follow.

Richard made an almost bewildered look which made Gavin snicker as he tried to figure out what had just happened.

"Detective Reed, I believe I am supposed to come with you"

"Yeah, I know, there's a bus stop right there." Gavin pointed to a bus terminal on the other side of the street, and with that, he smirked and reversed out of his parking spot, leaving Richard on the sidewalk of the police station.

The investigation into the jewelry heist was no different to most cases Gavin had experienced, that was until Richard's predictions were correct and the perp jumped Gavin in the alleyway.

"Son of a bitch!"
Gavin yelped as he struggled to pry the cold hands away from his neck. The person was clinging to his back doing everything in his power to take him down. Gavin teared himself from the fierce grip to see a familiar face, one that looked like Carlos Ortiz's Android.

"You're fucking dead"
Gavin exclaimed as he massaged his now bruised neck. He pounced towards the Android who was now shuffling away on the dirty alleyway ground. Soon they were in a violent fist fight, the Android managed to grab Gavin's wrist and twist it so that his whole body turned facing the dirt. The Android then proceeded to lock his fists with Gavin's temple, causing him to shriek in pain as he struggled under the deviants' grip.

"Who said free will was a good idea?" Gavin grunted almost giving up as the android continued to make blows to his head. As Gavin's vision started to blur and his breath became uneven from his position on the floor, a familiar tall figure emerged from the opening of the alley. Richard.

Richard's LED flashed red as he observed Gavin's condition on the floor, his expression neutralized and he began a sprint towards the android. Before it had a chance to, Richard tackled the Android off of Gavin and with little struggle, placed him in handcuffs.

Gavin made a sharp inhale as he brushed his fingertips across his bloody head. He sat there on the floor, watching as Richard handed the suspect to other policemen. Richard then turned to face the bloodied, beaten Gavin and kneeled down beside him, he analyzed him, checking for any serious injuries. Nothing severe. Richard pulled a bandage from his pocket and started wrapping it around Gavin's head. He was hesitant at first but allowed the android to bandage his wounds, almost embarrassed as he sat there in silence, thinking about how he just let that android tackle him.

When Richard was done, he looked down at Gavin and stood up.
"You know, if you hadn't made me catch the bus, you wouldn't be so bloody detective Reed" Richard almost smirked, walking out of the alleyway where Gavin still sat.

Gavin rolled his eyes and huffed, but still took one last glance at the machine who just saved his ass
