The Return of subject 946

July 4th

       I was enjoying a nice summer day, I was wearing my favorite pair of ripped shorts, knee high black socks, and my favorite off shoulder shirt. It was the fourth of July which means that everyone was gonna be at the park or at home having their own get together. The man I shamefully call my father demands we spend together on this day, I was able to sneak out before they woke me up.
         I had gotten breakfast (even though it was noon) at great bakery in the city and was walking to the park while eating my yummy breakfast treat. 
When I arrived, to my shock on this hot summer day it was covered in ice. Mental laughing at myself as I walked through the park smirking at all the ice covered people and the ground.

"you just gonna stand by and smirk all day?" I heard a deep rough voice question me
"Oh so you do want me to do something about this?" I question him right back kneeling down to a single flower in the middle of all this ice.
" What kind of dumb-" Wraith stop himself and paused
"yeah thats right before you call me an idiot," I started " it was your idea that I be quiet to the public"
"yeah yeah whatever Pheonix just hurry up and help these pathetic humans" he growled.
I laughed and stood straight and proceeded to melt the ice of people and the life in the park.
" Are you always gonna be this mean outside the Lab Wraith?" I asked not really knowing what is wrong with him
"No child," he said in a long drawn out sigh and continue what he was saying "today I'm feeling one edge. You know my gut is usaully right about things Pheonix"
I'll give him that today feels off, and I'll give him that his gut is usaully right. Usaully.
"Do you have any idea what might happen?" I asked kinda worried, and concerned.
"If I knew I wouldn't be on edge." he said upset
I took his upset additude as a sign to shut the fuck up, and did so politly and continued thawing people out.
I manged to disapper after I thawed people out. Batman and Boy Wonder were wandering around and they manged to see me. Needless to say Wraith was pissed off and lectured me for a good hour about being stealthy, I just rolled my eyes and continued on my way.
I as walked around town enjoying the sounds of the city, children were laughing, there was loud chatting, car blaring and honk at each other. Most would be annoyed, but I see it as signs of me being free from my cage. Like Hedwig when Harry lets her out of her cage to fly on her own.
Everything was ... perfect. In this chaos of Gotham city all was perfect. That was until I smelled smoke, I looked to see where the smoke was coming from and I saw a building on fire.
"don't."
" Wraith please there are innocent people in there"
"No, we're not going there we don't need you to be seen on TV"
"Thats the great thing of being incontrol of my body..." I smirked and started walking "I choose what we do"

When we arrived, we (me and Wraith) had figured out a plan that could keep me out of sight of any News media out lits. I was gonna use my Shadow manipulation and pretty much teleport in and get as many people out as fast as possible.
I promised Wraith I would follow the plan. so step one, was finding a ledge to teleport to pretty easy. Step two was the teleport and step 3 was to help out without being seen. All went as it was supposed to I got in ,and started left and right helping people out and pointing them to the exit.
"Hey look it's the sidekicks!" someone shouted from the outside.
I turned around and saw boy wonder and kidflash standing there, Aqualad soon joined them. I turned to hide behind a piece of burning deprie but thanks to my luck the papers under my feet move making a noise that caught Robin's attention.
" DUMBASS!"
"Um, guys" Robin says getting his friends attention
Shit. I stood like a deer in headlights. 'Wraith what do I do???' I asked inside of my head I don't want to look more crazy then I do right now.
" I don't know this wasn't part of the plan" 
"Fuck it" I said and I bolted down the hallway with loud footsteps following after me.
Of course my dumbass forgot about Kid Flash. and he got up to me and I was soon surrounded by heros who probably think I caused this.
"What are you doing here?"  robin questioned
" I, um-"
" do you know who caused this?" Aqualad interrupted
" well um-"
"Are you single?" KF asked
"fuck off. lemme talk to these kids" I ignore Wraith's request.
"Can i speak without being inturrupted?" I looked down hiding my face with my bright red hair
they remained silent
"I was here to help people get out of here alive, no I don't know caused this. and I don't think I should answer the am I single question cause that was weird" I  answered all their question kinda.
" Hey, please lemme have the wheel I wanna check something out"  wraith said
I sigh and took and back seat ride...

3rd Person Point of View
Thanks to Pheonix hiding her face with her hair the small band of sidekicks didn't see her eyes changes hues. They went from her vibrant forest green eyes to a dark shade of crimson. As the demon that dwelled in her awakened with a low chuckle.

Wraith's POV

Oh this will be fun. As this small band of children looked at me when I chuckled "you should have pinned me when you had the chance"  I said as I used Pheonix' powers to teleport down the hall leaving them confused.
" your so mean!" Pheonix shouts in my head
" Little shits had it coming"  I replied back looking around.
I ignored her lecturing me about these 'heros' and started getting noisey about what this place really is. I'm concerned that this the place Pheonix and I were held when they were preactically toruturing her. She's been through alot for only 16.  First the neglect fron her parents, being kidnapped and held for money from her family only to find her parents forgot she was real, tortured and used as a test subject, finding me, getting saved by asshole parents when we had a far better plan then just pay them, and when she finally gets home she fines out the one person whos cares was kicked ou the house all because he's another mans Son!
I search through debrie and ash for any clue as too what this place could be, and out the corner of my eye I see yellow and red but I kept searching for a small set of numbers and hopeing this isn't the place I think it is.
"There you are!" the boy said, I didn't pay much attention to Pheonix when she talked about them. So I continued on my search.
"Are you even listening?!" he yelled
"nope" I replied
"asshole" Pheonix said and I chuckled
I continued my search and my hand made there way to a paper with the three simple numbers that I dread to see. The paper said "The Report On Subject 946"
" We need to get out of here Wraith"
"For once I agree with you Pheonix" I answered not careing if he heard me
"Who's Pheonix" he question
I turned and looked at him
"you''re still here" I said  and smirked and teleported away by the elevator right in front of Fish boy.
"Shit"  I said as I walked backwards and bolt to the elevator
" Wraith?!" Pheonix shouted from the back of my head "what's going on?!"
"I'm a little busy Fire!!" I shouted as I push the buttons down to the sub-level  knowing full well Pheonix isn't gonna like this
"Why are we going back?!" her voice whimpered
"It's gonna be okay" I said as the doors close and I could see the sidekicks running to the door just as it close
