Aster, The Dawner Of Darkness

its been awhile since I've written anything, just got back to writting :) anyway here's the prologue  to the story :)

Prologue:

Aster’s awakening

I used to be content, living one life after another, protecting the world from the evils they knew nothing about, but now I realize as I protected this world, as I protected humans with my family that I had failed to realize one day they might become the victims of out enemies.

I was known as Aster almost four billion years ago, I was the one assigned as the holder of true darkness, the people I called family, were the hundred ancients. The hundred ancients, we were the ones assigned to govern over certain powers that we are to hold, each one bearing great strength in order to fight the unknown enemies of this world but only ten of us were hailed the supreme council. Kaiane was the holder of true light, she was my elder sister and second of the supreme council. Lancis was made the holder of thunder, he was the brother of my beloved and third of the supreme council. Firo was made the holder of flames, he was my best friend and the fourth of the supreme council. Frost was made the holder of water, he was Firo’s twin sister and the fifth of the supreme council. Linder was made holder of the earth, he was considered the strongest one of us and the sixth member of the council. Storm was made the holder of the winds, he was entitled the greatest hunter among us and the seventh member of the supreme council. Creslic was not given an element to hold but instead was made an ancient through the blood of our family, the blood of the wolf, he is my younger brother and also the eight member of the supreme council. Luna was known as a guardian ancient, these were ancients who were not given elements or bloodlines but were ready to fight for the world itself thus granted an unknown power later called lunar light a shadow of Kaiane’s power, she was the fiancé of my younger brother, the leader of the guardian ancients and also the ninth member of the supreme council. The final member of the supreme council was my beloved Cassedy she was the holder of hope unlike the other powers her power was beautiful, it couldn’t harm anyone or anything but instead it served to protect people, it served to give light to everyone not just the ancients but the humans as well, one of the many things I loved about her, even if four billion years passed she is still my beloved one except now she has no memory of me.

 She had fallen victim to one of the forbidden entities and her memories, were wiped away! Now she has someone new in her life. How will I fight for something that was meant to be since the beginning of time when everything was wiped away in a single moment, in a single second? I wish I was there for my beloved Cassedy as she laid down at her rest and her memories stolen and swept away from her. I feel angry at myself for letting her go, for letting danger hurt my beloved, but there’s nothing I can do, but to search for the one responsible! To search for the memory thief and take back what rightfully belongs to my love! I just hope that when the time come for her memories to be returned. She will still love me the same way she loved me back then, but if not I will not force myself toward her my beloved Cassedy deserves to be happy even if it means without me.

 A promise I leave to her each day of my immortal life:

“The world may turn, it may come into ruin, chaos may break, and time may run dry but even if the melody of the winds stop blowing my heart will forever be yours I will find you again my beloved and this time I shall not leave your side”

a promise I will give my life to pursue.

That's that for the prologue :) I hope you all like the intro to the story :) the first part will show a different side of aster :)
