Eleanor’s Tears

I went home and told my mother I wanted to transfer to Lilywood, she didn’t mind seeing as my sister Kate studied and graduated there, it’s a pretty high standard school compared to Vinegroove but I know for sure I can take it. My mom didn’t ask my real purpose for transferring but I know for sure when Kate get’s home I’m in trouble.

“Mom I’m home! I need to talk with Ryan where is he?”

“Oh, Kate your home already, well you can find Ryan in the rooftop he is staring at the stars like he normally does. He’s planning to transfer to Lilywood you know.”

“Thanks mom, yeah I know that’s what I want to talk to him about bye.”

“Okay, don’t be late for dinner both of you!”

I stare at the stars, as I remember when they had not existed when it was still me and her standing together, I tune into mom and Kate’s shadow and find that Kate wants to speak to me about Eleanor and how she hid knowing about her away from me.

“So you found out about Eleanor?”

“Yeah, I also found out that you and everyone else hid knowing about her from me, how do you think I feel about that sis, you know I love her don’t you?!”

“I’m sorry Aster, I only wanted to protect you from getting hurt.”

She only calls me by my first life’s name if and only if she wishes to make a point. This time however I won’t allow her to make a point. I couldn’t do anything for Cassedy as I read her memories I start to hate myself for letting this happen.

“Kaiane, I will not allow you to make a point this time! You know why I love to look at the stars? Because the stars are the only things that connect me and Cassedy together! You know I love her! Yet even though you knew! You hid the fact that you found her! I’ve looked through her memories and she’s cried so many times! So many heartbreaking times! Where was I?! I didn’t even know she was there! I didn’t even know she was crying out in pain! Do you know how much I despise myself right now?!”

“Ryan, I’m so sorry I didn’t think hiding this would hurt you so much.”

“Kate, please leave me alone for awhile I need to think how my sister for four billion years would even think of hiding something that meant so much to me!

I know Kate listened to me as she left me alone, I’m still teary eyed I didn’t realize I cried it must have been to painful for me already, knowing my elder sister would dare hide anything from me and would dare justify her action even though I was already hurt.

“Hey, you okay?”

A girl on the rooftop next door suddenly spoke out, I was surprised to see anyone else outside at this time and hour, but what surprised me more was who it was.

“Not the talkative type I see? Anyway I’m Eleanor. Guess I’m not the only lonely one tonight, the stars really are calming, aren’t they care to listen to my story?”

I tune into her shadow and realize that after the movie with Jake they bumped into that Chelsea girl and she kissed Jake right in front of her! Not only that Chelsea said I love you to Jake with her still watching! She didn’t cry in front of them but she ran away as fast as she could until she reached her house, she ran up the stairs and locked herself in her room till she heard me and Kate screaming she’s been crying for awhile now but she can still hide it. She’s already used to crying because of Jake but this time was different they were over she wouldn’t be giving Jake another chance.
