Chapter 8

Tywin

It has been a week since Kat Stark has been locked in her room and Ned Stark has been a pain in my ass about letting her go but I'm not. Now the king has me doing his work since he is to busy with his daughter and wife. I have been so busy I haven't been able to see Lacee which is killing me.

It morning but it will be lunch soon and I must spend it with my family what fun that will be. I heard a voice say "Is lord Lannister inside."

"He is but he is busy."

"Doing what."

"None of your business."

I just listened until the voice was gone but I'm very curious as to who it is so I opened the door as I did I saw it was Lacee in a beautiful dress. She was still walking away from me so I said: "Come back."

She turned to me, walked over to me in front of my guards and said: "May we speak in private my lord."

I'm very busy but I'm curious what she wants so I waved her in and said: "Yes and next time she is here tell me so I can let her in."

They bowed and said "Yes my lord."

Once she was in my office I walked over to my desk, stood in front with my hands behind my back and said: "You want to talk I take it."

She shook her head and said, "Yes my lord I was wondering if we could speak about my mother."

Fantastic her as well. I raised my eyebrow and said: "What about her."

She put her hands behind her back and said: "I was wonder how long she would be locked up."

"Until there is a trail."

She walked forward a bit and said: "Is there any way I can change your mind, my lord, she was just trying to protect."

I can protect her not her mother so I said: "I can protect you not her and if this is all you came for you can leave I have paperwork to do since your father is with your mother."

Which is true so I walked past her to open her door but as I did she grabbed my arm which surprised me and said: "Wait, my lord, what if I made a deal for her release."

I looked at my arm then to her as I turned to face her so I could see her as she talked. I waved her on as she stuttered "Well.....what.....if......I....... Ummmm."

I can't understand her if she doesn't speak words so I said: "Talk in sentences."

She whispered, "I only get tongue tied with you, my lord."

"Good," I said as I chuckled at her and said: "Just tell me what you want so I can get back to work Lady Stark."

She hid her mouth with her sleeve which was cute as hell and looked at the floor as she said "What........if in exchange for my mother release........I give you my hand willingly."

I heard some of it but not all of it so I walk over to her, moved her hand so I can hear her better and put my hand under her chin making her look me as I said: "Repeat that."

She looked me dead in the eye and said without stuttering "What if in exchange for my mother release I will give you my hand willingly."

I can't believe I just heard that so I put my hand down, looked at her as I started to walk closer to her making her back up until she hit my desk with a thud. She looked at me with a hint of fear because of how I was walking to her like I was stalking prey but then again I was. Once in front of her, I gave her some space to move so she wasn't too uncomfortable as I said: "You would do that."
