Chapter 23

Tywin

I haven't let Lacee out of my sights unless her mother is with her because she is so close to giving birth. I won't lose her. I'm just finishing up paperwork as my door opens and relives a very pregnant Lacee.

They think she is carrying a girl by the way her belly is but I will love our child all the same. We have plenty of time to try for a boy. She looked at me and said, "What are you doing."

Kind of obvious but I'm not going to tell her that so I said "Paperwork."

She shook her head and said, "Can I go outside for a bit for fresh air."

I need to finish this so I said: "Give me a minute to finish this love."

"Tywin I can go by myself you know."

I know she can I just don't care. What if she goes into labor and no one is there so I looked at her and said: "Do you think I care."

He growled at me which was cute as hell. She is more festive now she is so close to the due date. Once out of thought she said, "Tywin I don't feel good."

I looked at her and said, "What is it."

She doesn't look good and she started to say something but then stop and said: "My water just broke."

I kick my chair out, ran up to her, picked her up making her yell at me and say "Aren't I heavy."

She knows she not so I growled at her making her say "Guess not."

I ran to the birth room and once there I told the nurse to get what she needs and to get Kat. Everything went by fast and I heard her start to whimper from the pain of contractions so I got behind her, held her hand and said: "This will hurt but I'm here so lean on me."

She shook her head and groan "Thanks for the warning."

I chuckled at her, kissed her neck and said: "You will be fine."

No even a second later the pain really started. She screamed and yelled all the while I kept my hand in hers. Kat and the nurse were doing what they could to help but this something only time can help but I'm here for her. Night has fallen and I know she tired but luckily her mother came up to her and said "Just one more push little one."

I groaned "You said that last time."

Kat and I both chuckled at her and she said: "I promise this time."

She sat up and I did with her. She pushed as hard as she could until we heard a baby starting to cry and once the baby was out she fell back into my body as I felt her body to mine making her relax into mine. She did good so I kissed her hair as I held her to me. I know she is tired this can take a lot out of someone. She watched as Kat took the baby to clean her or him.

The nurse finished up with her then went to help Kat with the baby. I want to know if it's a boy or girl. No matter what I will love it I thought as I saw Lacee relaxed her legs and closed her eyes. She can sleep yet not yet I won't lose her so I said: "Stay away just a little longer please."

She didn't answer me which can't be good and I couldn't stop the tear that fell from my eye making her open her eyes and look at me. She brought her hand to my face and said: "I'm tired love please let me rest I will not leave you or our child so be at ease."

I know she is but I just want her awake for a bit longer so I kissed her and said: "Just say awake for a bit longer."

She smiled at me and said, "I love you but I'm tired and I want to sleep."
