"Tell me you were able to locate Gabby, Christian" I state growing impatient. This fucker has me waiting for almost an hour.
"I'm trying man it's not easy! Woah wait.. it seems they're hiding at an abandoned cabin in the forest. They must be stupid! Many go to a basement or a warehouse why take her to a cabin where anyone can spot them" he questions and I think hard.
"Maybe they aren't trying to hide, maybe what they're doing is stalling so we can find them. They want us to come after them. The bigger question is why" I say.
"You don't think it's to lure Izabel right?" Oh fuck "Get me the location on Izabel right now!"
Izabel POV
Ronaldo was smart to tell me Gabby had a tracker but the dumb one here is me. I brought my bracelet he gave me and I'm pretty sure it has another tracker but really I don't care I just want to hold Gabby.
"Amy got any leads?" I say through the phone as sit in the car "Well Christian was telling Ronaldo they are hiding in an abandoned cabin in the forest, I don't think it's too long from the city, but Izabel I don't consent to this you are heavily pregnant for goodness sake let Ronaldo take care of this"She pleads "No Amy, Gabby is my daughter too I wouldn't forgive myself if harm ever came to her, I couldn't bare if they put their hands on her" I start to whimper.
"Wait.. did you say cabin in the forest?" I doubled check "Yes do you know the place?"Amy intervenes "My parents used to take me and my sisters to the family cabin to forget about the world and camp. Usually we would stay there for a month till we stopped going" I explain to Amy "Izabel you really should not go. Maybe it's a trap for you, hear me out-" I stop her "Thanks for everything Amy I'll see you soon ok? bye" I hang up.
§once at the location§
I just got here to the cabin and look around the windows to see if any are open.
Only one was open I walk silently in the darkness waiting to hear someone.
"I f*cking told you we shouldn't have come here! They can spot us easily damn it!" That male voice.. I think I heard it before.
"Shut up! I know she will come here. She would do anything for this spoiled little brat!" I gasp as I realize who she is..Laura.
"She's here.. I can smell her expensive perfume. Find her!" I cower as the man searches to find me.
"Get up you little brat!" She drags Gabby "Mommy!" Gabby yells for me "Let her go!" I raise my voice as I show myself
"There you are little sister, hiding like the rat you really are" she itching for the fight but I held back "I won't repeat myself, let my daughter go and we'll solve this like women" I'm itching to scratch her face off.
"Your stupid glare doesn't phase me Izabel, I am your bigger sister after all" she snared "Your nothing to me. Now let my daughter go!" Gabby ran to me and I knelt down "Mommy" she cries in my arms "mommy's here baby".
"What a lovely picture" I turn to see Lucio "you? Ronaldo trusted you, how could you do this to him" I stepped away from both of them "he didn't trust me all he ever did was give me orders! Always bossing me around as if he was better then me. That a**hole had it coming. And now you will too" he raises a bat but I quickly picked up Gabby and ran.
My hair was yanked back "Gabby run and don't stop!" I was relieved as my princess ran to safety "How about I play with you for a while hm?" Lucio slurs. Bastard "Your disgusting" I spit at him "you always tempted me. With those curves and perky tits. Wearing those short dresses. You were asking for it without having to speak" what.. "enough games just tie her up before she gets any ideas of running again" Laura but's in.
"You said you were going to make her pay, why haven't you done anything to her" he asked "I want to be alone with her. Leave" he glared as he left "Now, where were we?" I looked down in defeat "Oh yes, Dad always preferred you and Klaudia never giving me a sibling only you. The perfect husband. The perfect family. The perfect life. And me all alone".
"Laura listen there's something mom and dad didn't tell you" I say She slaps me.
"Shut the f*ck up! If you and Klaudia hadn't been born I would've had everything. Including mom and dad. Now they hate me thanks to you!" She slaps me again.
Just then we heard gun shots "Gabby?" I whisper "Lucio what's happening!" Laura looked at him worriedly "he's here we have to go" could Ronaldo be here? "You b*tch! You called him didn't you. You don't care for your daughter. Let's finish this right and now" she raises her knife.
A gunshot was heard and her body fell to the floor.
"No!" I scream once I saw her blood oozing to the floor.
Ronaldo let's me free as I go to Laura "I hate you" blood spews out of her mouth "Laura you had a brother but he died when you were born, mom didn't tell you" tears came out my eyes.
"I.. have a.. brother" she smiled as she slowly loses life "thank you" she closes her eyes. "No.. Laura.. please come back! I'm.. big sister please.." I sob as I clean her tears.
"Izabel are you ok? Is the baby alright? Your all bruised up doll" Ronaldo checks my face "Gabby?" I ask "she's in the car. Let's go" I looked down "Ronaldo.. Lucio was-" he cuts me off "I know. I already called the police they should get here soon".
He didn't even kiss me or hug me We got to the car and Gabby was fast asleep.
Arriving home Ronaldo did not even get close to me.
I decided to shower with Gabby and put her to bed.
Finally I chose to eat a microwave I did not feel like cooking. Ronaldo walks in the kitchen and heads to the fridge "Is this how it will be, you ignoring me constantly?" I reprimanded "Don't speak a word to me Izabel, not today" he walks away but I held his arm.
"Ronaldo stop this it's stupid of you to ignore me like this after what we just went through today" I looked at him sadly "Stupid? stupid is you putting my unborn child in danger only because you could not be here safe at home like I told you! Stupid is not listening to my orders! Gabby is my daughter but so is my unborn child. Just.Don't.Touch. Me"
he walked away leaving me alone.
