~*Tuesday*~
~*Park*~"So, would you guys ever have kids?", Alex asks me and Braden. I blush a little. "Uh...we aren't planning that far yet...", I say. "But yet, you know that you're going to get married?", Alex says. "Well-" Elijah cuts me off. "You have a weird sense of logic", he says," Even Sub and I know our plans for the future together." I roll my eyes. "Whatever."
"So, do you have work tonight?", Braden asks," I'm off tonight and I was wondering if we could have a movie night tonight." "Sadly, no...", I answer" My rat of a boss is forcing me to work tonight. He said he'd give me 'extra pay'." He nods slowly and sadly. I grab his hand. "Hey, I'll make it up to you, okay?", I say. He nods again.
"Okay, lovebirds," Sub says," I have to go now. The street lights are starting to come on." "Seriously, you still have to be home when the street lights come on?", Elijah asks. "Yeah, I have controlling parents! I can't help it." "But you promised me that you would stay the night," Elijah whines," I had so many plans for us." "Oooo, like what?", Alex asks, smirking just a little. "S-stuff!", he says, turning a little red. "What kind of stuff? The good stuff?", Alex teases. Elijah turns even redder. "We don't do...that...," he says," You and Garrett might do that but, nah. I'm not ready for that!" "I was just joking, jeez", Alex says," Besides, Garrett and I have a....friendly relationship." Elijah crosses his arms and mutters under his breath. "Yeah, I bet."
I giggle a little. "Well, bye guys", Sub says. He gets up and walks out of the entry gate to the park. "I think I'm going to go too," Alex says, getting up," I can't drive and I need someone to drive me back home." "I'll drive you home," Elijah insists," I mean, I have nothing else to do." The two walk off, leaving me and Braden alone. "I guess we should go too," he says," I'll drive you to work." "But I don't have to leave for another hour. We could maybe study or something." "Sure.", he says. We get up, hold hands, and walk to the car.
~*30 minutes later*~
"I'll be right back, I think I left my books in the car", I say, walking out the door. As I walked to my car, I could feel someone just staring out me. I ignore the feeling and get my books again. When I close my door and turn around, I come face to face to a man a few inches shorter than me. I back up a little. "Uhm...who are-", the man cuts me off. "Oh, I see you don't remember me huh?", he asks. I shake my head. "Well, Denis, I'm Braden's dad", he states. My heart nearly dropped.
"W-what are you doing here?", I ask," How do you even know where I stay." He chuckles "Don't worry about that, buddy," he says," Anyways, I would just like to, you know...have a little chat over dinner at my house." I shake my head. "I-I can't do that, I have work in like 30 minutes," I say," And, Braden hates you and he would hate me for bringing him over there. Besides, you're a and ugly, evil rat, and I don't have to listen to thing you say because you are not my dad." He grabs the collar of my shirt, making me drop my books.
"Listen here, young man," he says in a scary tone,"I don't give a damn about your job. You will come over tonight or else there will be consequences. You've seen the things I've done." He let's go off me. "Have nice day," he says, starting to walk off," See you there at 8." I quickly grab my books, my hands trembling, and rush back inside. I run upstairs to my bedroom and slam the door.
"Okay, so change of plans," I say," We're going to go out tonight." "Huh?", Braden asks,"But I thought you had work? You don't have to cancel for me." "No, it's not that it's just that..." I trail off with my sentence. "Just, put on your shoes." He does as I say and we get into the car, driving off.
