A "sudden" news story comes onto Jim News. Jim's twin, Jim, is ready to announce it all.
"Ah, welcome back to Jim News! I'm Jim," Jim smiled at the camera, bouncing on his heels. It wasn't uncommon to see the Jim twins jumping about, but between the smile and feel of excitement coming from the announcer, it wasn't hard to guess something special was happening. "Today, we have a wonderful story just coming in!" Jim waved his hand off to the screen to the side. The camera seemed to be hiding almost in the underbrush. Nevertheless, Jim paid no mind to the odd occurrence. Yet again, strange happenings were not uncommon on Jim News. "I'll leave the story to you, Jim," Jim gave one more wink to the camera.
The view lifted up from the shrubbery to show a beautiful central park. It was beautiful peaceful day. The sun shined brightly onto the green plains, leaves waving in a light breeze. Jim popped out from behind a tree, right in front of the camera. Jim's outfit looked quite similar to his stereotypical broadcasting clothing, but somehow it felt more put together than ever before. "Why thank you Jim," Jim smiled, his body swaying in motion, "Welcome to the story of the year!" And there he went, without turning back.
Jim had tapped the shoulder of a stranger, at least to the viewers. As they turned around, looking at Jim, Jim's smile widen. His eyes radiated joy. The two stood in an opening, just staring at each other lovingly, until Jim leaned in. Their cheeks reddened in the sunlight. The two shared a graceful, sweet kiss, their lips seeming to be made for the other. Jim smiled into the kiss and the stranger leaned into his grasp. Every viewer could feel their hearts melt at the sight.
Jim looked his lover in the eye and all he saw was complete adoration. The news reporter felt his smile stretch ever farther, his eyes crinkling. And as he lowered himself onto one knee, he felt his heart beating crazily against his chest. His lover gasped, their hands acting on reflex to cover their smile, but alas Jim held onto their palms. Their expression of pure joy was there for every viewer to see. Jim knew they were the one, "Y/N, will you marry me?" The entire crowd held onto their breaths until Y/N leapt into the man's arms. "Yes, of course! I love you!" Every viewer yelled out in celebration at the sweet sight. The camera zoomed in on the faces of the couple, showing the tears streaming down their features, kissing each other passionately. And everyone knew that these two were meant to be.
Jim's twin was now once again the main focus of the scene, but the joyous scene was still view-able behind Jim. Jim dabbed his eyes lightly, "Well, that was just beautiful wasn't it?"
