Jac woke up in fear, barely breathing. She had dreamt about jasmine and how she died... it hadn't happened now a while but lately it had become a reoccurring theme. "Shit" she muttered to herself as she woke from the cold sweat to see a child like figure standing in the hallway.
"Mommy. Are you okay? I heard you calling out for auntie jasmine again."
"Come here darling." She whispered to Emma whilst tapping the bed beside her. Emma ran towards her mother jumping up and wrapping her arms around her neck. "Mommy was having a bad dream that's all..."
"About auntie jasmine?" She said glaring at her with her stubborn yet sweet puppy dog eyes.
"Yes darling, about auntie jasmine. The thing is mommy misses her very much. And even though she doesn't tell anyone, it doesn't mean she doesn't care. I wish she had gotten the chance to know you, she would have loved you!"
"You really think so?"
"Yes baby, I do." She took a breath before speaking again. "Now run along and get ready. Fletch if giving us a ride this morning."
"Does that mean I get to ride with Theo?"
"Yes, now hurry up."

About ten minutes later Jac heard a knock on the door, quickly fixing her hair and making herself presentable, she opened the door.
"Morning gorgeous." He leaned over for a kiss but her hand quickly jolted up pushing him away. She grabbed Emma and placed her in the backseat along side Theo. "So no good morning. No kiss. What's up Naylor?"
"I don't want to talk about it, just drive."
The rest of the 20 minute drive to the hospital was in silence, with fletch looking over to check on Jac every now and again. They pulled up outside the hospital doors and before fletch could say anything Jac grabbed Emma and bolted towards the entrance.

She spent the full day avoiding fletch and his unstoppable questions, heading the opposite way at every opportunity. Until finally, at the end of her shift, he came speeding through the door with a stern look on his face "Jac what's up with you?"
"I don't know fletch, I honestly do not know!"
She placed his palms on her shoulders making her feel safe and secure for a minute until she pulled away.
"Jac?" He said with a growing frown.
"Just leave fletch, I'm not good for you. We can't do this, I'm breaking here."
"But jac..."
"No fletch don't!"
"Is it over?" He whispered with tears forming in his eyes. He took a deal breath and a step forward, placing a speedy kiss on her forehead before turning on his heal and walking out of the door. As soon as she heard the door lock shut, her face was flooded with tears, uncontrollable tears. She fell to the floor struggling to breathe in pain and distress. Then nothing... just blackness and silence.
