A werewolf's main weakness is that, in human or wolf form, if they look at the full moon, they will freeze up and can only be recovered by breaking their gaze. Other weaknesses are that, because of their large size, they have trouble hiding in open areas. They also can't get into some small places.
Most of the time, transformed werewolves retain a lot of intelligence, but memories are not retained aside from family and close friends. Sometimes, if angered, a werewolf will completely lose all intelligence and memories and revert to only trying to survive.
They are also incredibly loyal and unless in a primitive state as mentioned above, will do anything to protect their loved ones and packmates. While this is a great trait that most werewolves have, it can be used to give them a disadvantage.
