It's a rare chance to see a bird building their nest, especially one who isn't afraid.
I had the chance to photograph many species of birds, they ranged from the size of my finger to two sizes my head. Some pounced up to the brances and observed me with grace, while others simply hopped and stared with intensitiy. I was wanting to become one of them.
What's it like in a birds world?
A bird has many traits that I find noteable, for instance, the Golden Weaver is extremely talkative, they chatter to themselves then bit a few leaves. While others are more serene and quiet, they choose to simply float in the water above the thousands of fish in crystal clear waters.
Flight is different also, you'll notice some birds wave back and forth before jumping into flight. Others will jump straight into the air, their decorative feathers floating down behind them.
Bigger birds tended to stay still rather that fly or travel long distance, except the nearby waterfall where I captured many small birds bathing in a little crook that collected runoff.
Birds are unique in everything. Some stay to the ground, others fly. They're like humans, all different but share common traits. Every bird has a beak, every human has a nose.
