Chapter 2

Previous chapter ending:
Emma's POV:
Once he got the popcorn he put in the movie and turned out the lights and sat next to me. We were half way through the movie when.......

Rupert. POV:
I looked at my watch, it was 2am. I looked around for the guys but guess they left early. I was still talking to this girl- I realized I don't know here name. "I just realized that we didn't exchange names. I'm rupert..." I held out my hand and she took it, but kept our hands connected.
"I know who you are." she smiled."I'm........

Chapter 2:
    Rupert's POV:
    "I'm Kennedy." she replied with a smile then looked down at her feet, as she blushed.
    "I think you know my last name, but what about yours so I can know who you are."
    "I think I might keep that a secret for now." She smirked. I couldn't place my finger on it, but she seemed so familiar to me. I didn't push her on it, but would bring it back up later.
    I ordered us some more drinks. Once we finished the drinks I had to go home so I could get to the studio tomorrow.
    "Hey, I have to go, I'm supposed to be back at the studio in a few hours, but I was wondering if you don't have anything planned then you could come and meet some of my friends?"
    "Sure, I would love that." I handed her my phone so she could put in her number. Once she handed me my phone back I got a text from my driver saying that he was there to pick me up. I had just got another text saying that we wouldn't have filming due to an emergency, but I was still going to hang out with kennedy and play it as we are going to the studio.
    "I have to go, but I'll pick you up around 7:30." Our eyes locked, then I started to lean in. before to long our lips had connected. The kiss was amazing, I felt something with kennedy that I didn't with Emma. "I know we just met an all, but I was wondering if you would go out with me?"
    "Yeah, I would really like that." she kissed me one more time. "Bye rupert, see you later."

    Emma's POV:
We were half way through the movie when we heard a crash downstairs.
"I'll go see what's going on. Stay here." Tom paused the movie and started to leave.
"Wait, I want to come with you." I argued.
"Fine. just stay behind me." we walked down the stairs. I was clinging to his arm, I was scared out of my mind.
When we got down stairs, I saw someone who looked familiar. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" Tom asked.
"I came back for her." he pointed to me. At that moment I realized who he was, Angus Willoughby my Ex.
"NO! Angus, I'm not going with you. You hurt me." I yelled at him. Before I knew it he had pulled a gun on Tom and I.
"If you don't come with me then I will take your little friend here." he pointed the gun towards Tom. Tom looked at me and in that moment I knew what I needed to do.
"No." I stated. I saw his finger move on the trigger, as soon as I heard the sound I moved as quick as I could in front of tom.
Angus had ran out of the house and Tom caught me. I could tell by the pain in my hip that that was where the bullet hit me. I looked at tom who was on the phone with emergency personnel.
Once he was off the phone, I had begun to cry because of the pain. "Tom.... I want to tell you..... that the reason that I broke up.... With rupert was...... because I love you." I had managed to speak between cries.
Tom had also begun to cry. "I love you too." He caressed the side of my face with his hand and wiped away my tears.
"Tom, it hurts so much."
"I know baby, an ambulance will be here any minute." as he said that we heard them pull up and rush into the house. The last thing that I remember is Tom telling me to hang in there.

Tom's POV:
As soon as the ambulance got here, Emma start to close her eye's. I was telling her to hang in there. I hopped in my car and drove behind the ambulance. It only took us about 5-10 minutes to get to the hospital, as soon as they got their they rushed her back.
I knew that I needed to tell her family, so I got my phone and called her parents, and told them to meet me at the hospital and then I would explain. After a few minutes they arrived, I was dreading having to tell them that she got shot saving my life.
"Where is she?" Her dad came and asked me, trying to calm his wife.
"They just got here and took her back. We had went to my house to watch a movie, and I guess that Angus her Ex had followed us and broke into my house while we were watching a movie. When I went to go down stairs she followed behind me and next thing I know she jumped in front of me and he had shot her, instead of shooting me."  I had felt a tear run down my face.
"Look, we don't blame you for what happened. We probably need to tell the studio that she won't be in for a while." Her mom at this point had her hand on my back.
"I can do that." I offered. You guys just stay here and let me know if they tell you anything. I walked outside to collect my thoughts. I called mike newell, the director, and told him what happened.
A little while later, Mike showed up "Hey Tom, how is she?" he asked as he came up.
"Hey, we haven't heard anything." I told him and putting my head in my hands.
    It had now been 3 hours since they had taken Emma back. We were starting to get worried when I heard the doctor call her mom and dad. I watched the doctors and what he was saying trying to read his lips, but failing. After a few minutes her parents came over to us.
    "We can go see her now, but Tom do you mind staying with her tonight because we need to go pick up her sister?" they asked.
"Yes. yes, of course! I am only assuming that we aren't filming tomorrow, since our lead female is not able to work?" I asked Mike as we walked to Emma's room.
"That's correct, I just texted everyone even though its late." He stated as we walked into Emma's room. She was still asleep as we came in, we sat on the side of her bed. I was sat on her left and her mom sat on her right with the other behind us. I held her hand as we took in that moment, hoping that she would wake up soon.

Rupert's POV:
    When I got home, I looked at the text that I had gotten from Mike. I had figured that we would get another text saying why but all we got was a text saying:
        Hey guys, we are going to have to cancel filming for the next little bit, as we had an emergency come up. I will explain in a little while.
    I wonder what happened, or who it involved. I was on my way up to my bedroom when I got a text from Kennedy saying:
        Hey, miss you already, can't wait until the morning :)
I sent a text saying:
        Hey, miss you too, see you in the morning. I have a surprise for you tomorrow.
    I continued into my room, and slipped into my bed. As soon as my head hit my pillow I fell asleep thinking about Kennedy.
