About a month later...

Ruperts POV

I invited kennedy out for tea, I had already ordered.
Before I knew it thirty minutes had already passed and I was starting to get antsy. Was kennedy not coming? A few minutes later she ran into the shop.
"I am so sorry Rupert, My Grandparents came over unexpectedly. They wanted to check up on Emma." Kennedy apologized as she sat down next to me. My eyes widened and I felt as if my brain was going to explode. Kennedy was Emma's older sister. I couldn't believe I hadn't realized this sooner. The evidence was all there. If she wasn't introduced to you as her older sister you would think they were twins.
"I can't believe it, you're Emma's older sister!". She flashed a grin at me and nodded.
"Of course, You didn't know silly?" Kennedy asked. I shook my head, and still felt sort of dumbfounded for not realizing.
"No actually, but now that you've told me I kind of feel like an idiot.". She giggled at my reply. "It's not funny!" I exclaimed, a large smile starring form on my face.
"I hope being Emma's sister doesn't change the way you feel about me...".
I looked up at her, and held her hands in mine. "Of course it doesn't. I like you for you, matters." I confessed. We began to inch closer and closer to each other until our lips met. I hadn't felt more happy than I had in a long time.

Tom's POV

I scrolled through my contacts looking for emma's number. After scrolling for a bit I finally found it. Her contact name in my phone was now "Em" with a heart emoji. The phone rang a few times until she finally picked up. "Hello?" Her angelic voice called out.
"Hey Em, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight? I was thinking about what happened the last time we tried to have our little date and I really want to make it up to you. I thought we could pick up some dinner and if you're up for it, I hear there is going to be an amazing fireworks show. What do you say?" I asked, worried she would say no since last time we tried to hang out it went horribly wrong.
"That's so kind Tom. I Would love to hang out together!" She told me. I heard a hint of excitement in her voice. "What time should I get there?". I paused and glanced up at the clock.
"Is 6 alright?"I asked.
"That's fine with me. See you later." She replied.
After I hung up the phone I began getting ready or our date. Tonight I was finally going to ask her to be my girlfriend.
