"What is this?" As soon as Harper heard those words, she knew she was in for an interesting night. She hung up the phone and turned towards the questioning blonde.
"I c..can explain," Harper said shakely. She was nervous to see how Sugar would react.
"Do you think you're pregnant?" Harper nods and looks down. "Well there is only one way to find out!" Harper looked up at the girl and gave her a questioning look. "Well you're going to take test sometime, how about do it now since I'm here to support you." Harper smiled at the blonde.
"I... guess I'll do it, I mean I know I'll be disappointed each way." The blonde look at the girl as if she was speaking a different language.
"Disappointed? Why? I mean ya if it's positive your whole life will change, but life changes all the time. And if it's not positive, then it's not and maybe it's a sign you should move on." Harper nods her head and looks at her feet. "Are you going to tell Rog?" The question Harper was least looking forward too.
"I don't know yet. I mean I feel as I should, but things are just getting started for him. And me, I can't just leave Top of the Pops for a baby to sit at home while Roger and Queen are on tour for 2 months." To this Sugar agrees.
"I see where you are coming from, but Roger is the father. He has a right to know, and I know for a fact he would be estatic if he found out he was going to be a father." Harper just sits and stares at the floor like she has been doing all night. "I mean, we still have to take the test before we make any deciding factors."
Harper stands and grabs Sugars arm pulling her into a big hug. She grabs the test from the counter and heads into the bathroom. As they wait for the result, they sit on the couch. Harper with her head in her hands and Sugar rubbing Harper's back.
The kitchen timer goes off and Sugar gets up and walks towards the test, leaving Harper in the same position. Sugar walks back into the living room. "Well?" Harper asks looking up at the girl.
"I'm going to be an aunt!" Sugar basically shouts. Harper is happy as well but when tears start rolling out of her eyes, Sugar sits her down and hugs her. "It's going to be ok, alright love?"
"I'm having a baby, and I'm having the baby alone," Harper sobs.
"Oh honey, you won't be alone. The reason I came down to visit was to tell you I got a job here."
"Really? That's great Sugar!"
"Yeah, I'm going to be the head baker at the Bake Shop on the corner of 10 and limestone!"
"I'm so happy for you really!" The two spent the rest of the night talking away for hours. But Harper couldn't think of anything but 'Should I tell Roger?'

Two months had passed since the awkward ending of the call with Harper. Roger had filled the void of them not being together with beer. And lots of it. But he hadn't even brought himself to even look at other girls. Because no one could compare to Harper.
The band was doing really well, they had been hired by a record company and were being managed by John Reid. The band's assistant or whatever he was, Paul was always being a stick up Roger's ass.
The band was leaving on tour, and to say they were excited was an understatement. Yeah John was still upset that Sugar moved, but he was too excited about tour to even really care anymore. Sure they did a university tour before, but this one was America! Two months in America was going to be great.
Roger had been thinking of calling Harper again. He was just to nervous to bring himself around to pick up the phone. He made a goal, by the end of the tour, he would at least call her once.
After the Pittsburgh show, Freddie was hogging the phone talking to Mary like he normally does. Once he gets off, Roger goes over to the phone and dials Harper's number. It rings and Roger tightens his breathe. After 3 rings, Roger hears the voice he has been missing for months.
"Hello?"
"Harper, It's me Roger."
"Oh hi Roger, whats up?"
"I just thought I would try to keep my promise and call you."
"Oh isn't that sweet. Sugar told me you guys are on tour, how is it?"
"America is great. I should take you one time. We've just got one more gig before we head back though."
"Really? Where are you now Rog?"
"I think we are in Pittsburgh. Hey, when we get back, John is going to try and get us on Top Of The Pops. I hope to see you!"
"Ugh... that's great Rog, when you get back, I think we've got to talk." Worry fills her voice and Roger gets nervous.
"About wh..what?"
"Umm..... I think it's better to tell you in person."
"Harper, what's going on? You are making me scar..." The line goes dead. The call ran out of money and John was pushing Roger out of the way to talk to Sugar.
