"Vero, stop calling me." She was listening to the person on the other end when the elevator stopped at the 22nd floor, "I have to go, do not call me again." she pulled the phone from her ear and ended the call walking out swaying her hips. Who is this woman? Her beautiful dress, her hair pinned up yet curly, the slit in her dress revealing a sliver of her toned leg, those eyes, oh my god.
I walked into the conference room finding Alex and Mal, "Can I sit next to you?" Alex nodded texting but talking to me, "Serv is out of town, come over tonight and relax in the hot tub with me?" I nodded and opened up my folder getting everything ready.
"Ladies, please take your seats. Let's get this meeting started." Said the beautiful woman from the elevator. She sat in the chair at the head of the table and crossed her right leg over her left and pulled a loose piece of hair behind her ear.
Alex began, "Today, we move to reach a final decision on how to bring the front lines of troops back while completing the at hand task of bringing back the subject, Solo."
"They should advance to her location and weed out the security, extract her and move her to the LZ and fly her out. We can provide air support as they fly back. Less troops in danger, our two teams of four are struggling as it is. Alpha and Bravo secure Solo and then we call in a strike and watch for SAM sites." I stated confidently, everyone writing it down and nodding in agreement. The beautiful woman at the head eyeing me, "Anybody disagree?" she waited for an answer but didn't get one, "Alex, call the Executive officer and tell her to be here in thirty. Everyone move to command, help bring them home." She stood up and left the room, the rest of us left to shuffle our papers together and start making our way to Command down the hall behind the thick security doors.
I was the last one out of the room, I walked into the hallway, I heard footsteps behind me. I looked over my shoulder seeing the goddess. She cocked her brow at me, "I don't think we've met before." She stuck her hand out, I reached out shaking it, "I'm Tobin Heath, I work with the 17th department of forwarding ops." She Smiled, "I'm Press.. Christen Press. The CEO and Commanding CO of all ops in the building and with the Guard." I shook my head for a second, this is my boss?! I knew my jaw had fallen open slightly, I closed it and brought my hand to my tie, running my hand down the front of my outfit, flattening it. "You have a great strategy to bring home our imprisoned member and our teams." She smiled, I scratched the back of my neck, biting my lip nervously, "I didn't think everyone would agree, it seems like our safest bet." She glanced at her watch that was vibrating.
A text came through on my watch, "Alex- Ellis is on her way, fourty five minutes out. Direct contact with Alpha and Bravo has been made. Waiting on your orders. " I slid up on my watch and typed out, "Establish tango head count from teams, build an entry and exit plan with them. be there soon." I looked at Tobin, "Come with me to my office." She looked up at me confused, "Don't we have to be in command?" She is so precious yet sexy. Her blue suit jacket and pants go well with that gray button up, that tie.. would look better around my hands.. My god Christen, head out of the clouds. "Yes, but I need something, gives us the chance to discuss some possible faults in your plan." I turned towards the elevator, motioning her to follow me. I pressed the button for the 23rd floor. I accidently touched Tobin's hand as she got in, the touch sending a wave of heat through my body. What in the world. Getting out of the elevator, glancing at the woman sitting at the desk, "Morning Madam Press, a package on your desk from Vero came in not that long ago." I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh, "Thank you Taylor." I held open the door to my office and let Tobin enter first. I walked over to my desk, I opened the box to reveal flowers, a card and a small maroon box. I put the box on the floor. Fuck Vero. Can't leave me alone. I watched as Tobin placed her folder on the small table in my dark office, she parted her coat and slid her hands in her pocket, she was facing away from me. I'm gonna kiss her. I walked over to Tobin, sliding my right arm over her shoulder resting on her chest, sliding my left arm through her ledt arm and side and resting it on her abdomin. I felt her tense up and then relax, "U-uh Christen.. What are you d-doing?" I snaked my arm from around her shoulder and down her back pulling the shoulder of her jacket away from her body, "Come sit with me" I let go of her, guiding to my couch, I sat down and took off my heels and letting my hair down. She sat close to me, I put my hand on her thigh; she didn't flinch or move away so slid my hand up a few inches watching her for a reaction but never got one. "So Tobin, tell me about any faults that could arise from this plan you have." She started talking, I slowing started my closer to her.
