Little Surprise pt. 2

After finding out that I was pregnant I told Tobin that we would have to call our close friends and family..

"Maybe we should wait to tell everyone? I'm still trying to get my head around this, we are having a baby together Chris. We aren't married yet. We are nowhere near done playing soccer. I -

Baby shhh, it's all going to be okay. We are getting married in a few months, the baby won't be here yet. Yes, we aren't done playing soccer, this just means that I have to take a break professionally when it gets closer to the due date but you know that I'm going to be there for you at the games and be your cheerleader. This is not a bad thing, it's a little surprise. Our little surprise.

I know that your right, I'm just not ready yet.. I know I have to be." Tobin knelt down resting her head against my stomach holding my hips, "You're so beautiful Christen, I know that our baby is going to be just as good looking." I smiled resting my hands on her head massaging it gently. "Let's go get some rest Momma." She picked me up bridal style and took us to the bedroom, she curled up behind me with her hand resting on my abdomen.

2 Months later -

"Chris, I have all the bags packed, come here!

Yes baby?

Are you ready to go get married and tell everyone that you're pregnant?

I'm excited to be your wife and to have this baby with you. On our way to the airport can we get some acai? I'm really hungry.

Of course we can."

We arrived at the beach house in Rockaway Beach, Oregon and set everything inside.

Tobin came up behind me and put her hands on my belly, her lips pressed to my ear softly. I smiled and leaned my head against hers gently. Tobin whispered in my ear, "I love you baby." I turned sideways putting one hand on her cheek, "I love you." Pressing my lips into hers.

Our parents were flying out together and would be arriving soon, staying at a beach house close to ours. We were going to have dinner with them and then begin wedding prep in the morning. My parents wanted to take Tobin that day and her parents liked the idea and wanted me.

After a peaceful night sleep with my soon to be wife we both wake up to the smell of breakfast. Walking out in our robes and pajamas to see both of our parents talking quietly and preparing breakfast. We all ate and were taken away to our separate plans.

I kissed Tobin and then she planted a gentle kiss on my belly before softly tapping my ass and turning me to her parents, "Be safe guys! Don't party too hard." We got in the car and headed out for our day.

Our first stop was a spa, I was a bit surprised but I knew I was going to enjoy this time, especially with Tobin's parents. Two hours had passed and I felt so refreshed, "Ready for the next stop Chris?" I smiled and nodded my head. We pulled up to a house, Tobin's sisters all standing outside waving. We entered the house, "Chris, we have a surprise for you, close your eyes." I closed my eyes and was led around the house, I heard a door open and they led me in, "Open up.." I opened my eyes to see nursery items with bows on them and other baby items, I knew that these were things we hadn't gotten yet and needed to. I turned to all them smiling widely, "Thank you guys so much." They embraced me in a family hug.

Tobin's p.o.v.

After saying goodbye to Christen and waving the car off I turned to Chris's parents. "Ready to get this day started?" Cody said with his arm around his wife. "You know it." We got in the car and took off, we didn't drive very far, we stopped at shack near the beach. "Stay here for a second, I'll be right back." Cody said as he got out of the car. Stacy and I talked until Cody came back, "Alright, let's go!" We all got out of the car and headed into the shack, surfboards and wet suits, snorkeling gear and paddle boards everywhere. "Is this her?" said the girl behind the counter, "Yes," they responded in unison, "Come with me please," I walked with the girl into the back and she handed me a wet suit, "Try this one, if it doesn't fit just holler, I'll be over here." I took the wet suit and put it on, it fit pretty good so I walked out and had my clothes in my hand, Stacy motioned for my clothes and then put them in a bag she had brought with her, "Grab a board and come with me." I grabbed a short board and followed the clerk out to the patio, she whistled loudly. A few seconds went by and jeep with 4 people drove up.
