I actually forgot that I had this up somewhere else and the chapters that was missing in my hard drive was there. "orz

"Um... I really don't think we should be doing this, mates..." John murmured worriedly to his companions as all three of them peeked behind a dividing wall of a family restaurant a few blocks away from the SPR office.

Pushing up his glasses and tugging bits of his afro wig down, Yasuhara turned to his blonde companion with a sly grin. His partner, wearing fake glasses-nose-mustache disguise, did the same making John flinch back at the two pranksters. It was already common knowledge within the group that Yasuahara plus Eugene would always result to trouble.

"Oh come on, John." Eugene started as he crouched lower behind the wall, "Just go with it. It's not like we're doing something wrong."

Yasuhara nodded in agreement, his afro bobbing with his head.

"We're just watching them, John. Nothing more." Yasuhara followed up.

After a few more nods from the two pranksters, video cameras came flying out from Eugene's and Yasuhara's bags and were immediately set up and pointed at the couple they were currently watching.

John paled and sweat dropped in amazement and fear of the pranksters' skills when it comes to mischief. He quickly made the sign of the cross and made a mental note to go for confession after all of this was over.

"But seriously, a family restaurant?" Eugene said unamused as he sat on the floor turning away from the scene he was recording, "What is Noll thinking?"

Yasuhara blinked and joined him on the floor after checking his own camera. John followed suit, not wanting to confess more sins to his fellow churchmen.

"Aren't you the one who's supposed to know what the big boss is thinking?" Yasuhara mused looking at Eugene curiously as the latter just shrugged and slid lower behind the wall.

Ever since Eugene woke up, his telepathic connection with Oliver had been getting weaker by the day. At first, Eugene thought that it was his brother blocking him out as usual. Like he did when they were younger. But as the days went by, Eugene slowly began to notice that he couldn't hear any of his brother's thoughts no matter what he did.

The same went with his medium abilities. Eugene was finding it harder to see spirits and other entities as the days went by. Before, he could see things even if he just woke up from his nap. Nowadays, he had to go into a light trance to even see a glimpse of a spirit's shape or hear their voice. Of course, none of this was said to Oliver and their parents. For now, only Lin and Madoka knows about Eugene's dilemma.

"I might know what he's thinking." Eugene started, "But I don't know what he's planning with all those thoughts." He turned to Yasuhara with a bored look, "Noll's head is full of random trivia most of the time, you know."
