For all my simmers, I have a question?
Do you guys play the Sims 4 vanilla a.k.a. without mods?
I do! I don't want to flood my laptop with mods so I gonna play it vanilla like the Sims 3 but that game is a lot better than it's successor. Sims 4 game is so boring that I've started considering playing the Sims 3. So I thought I can create a post about the Sims. I know that half this stuff won't be in the Sims 4(open world) so I thought about making a post about Sims 5.
The Sims 5: Base Game
For the base game, there should be an open world or neighborhood.
-I'm tired of trying to go a new part of the world and I have to sit through a loading screen every time. After I'm done have to go to another loading screen to go back home. All in the same neighborhood! So having a open neighborhood/world can remedy that by letting the area you are in to be open.
Next thing I want is story progression.
-I miss story progression! I want to see my sims' siblings have kids or doing something with their lives. I remember going to Cornelia Goth and Agnes Crumplebottom's wedding, I shocked that Cornelia's husband cheated on her with someone. I want to see townies adopting kids, I don't think I have ever seen townies doing that in the Sims 3 well when I played it. I want to see people disliking someone and telling you about it.
Activities for all ages within the base game.
-Play-dates and daycare for toddlers and after-school activities/club that improves on skills and letting your sims know others.
Kids: Tee-ball(athletic/motor skill), scouts, ballet, volunteering, art club(art/creativity skill)
Teenagers: Basketball, soccer, swimming, wrestling, and football/cheer-leading(athletic skill), science(logic skill), debate(charisma and/or logic skill), wood-shop(handy skill), newspaper(writing and/or charisma skill), and art/photography/theater(art and/or photography skill). Perhaps honor clubs could be introduced.
Young Adults-Adults: knitting, bingo, clubbing, and most activities from the sims games 1-3
Elders: bird-watching, bingo, scrap-booking, shuffleboard, watching 'stories' like general hospital and all my children etc.
Some of the activities can be done with any age and with each other.
Police, Burglars, Toddlers, Pools, and Firefighters are already in the base game.
-I want them to function as actual threats. For example, if there were an expansion pack (city living) where we get apartments, you or NPCS can call the the police if things get too rowdy. Police can arrest you and you spend a night in the slammer. Starter policemen can patrol the streets and watch for any crimes that might happen. While level 10 police officers could be the chief of police and control the city police. Burglars can steal from randoms on the streets, from houses, and stores. They can also do a heist with like a silly weapon like a plunger or rubber chicken. If they were in a higher level then maybe a freeze ray. Of course, if your sim is a burglar then you can create the chaos with them a.k.a set up a heist and/or rob a nearby house. Now the firefighters can put out fires and go to schools to educate the children about fire safety. All can be an open-rabbit hole career like the gardener career from the sims 4. Toddlers and Pools supposed to be in the base game, duh.
Make a dating system like tinder
-Why should we wait for a season expansion to have a match-making system placed within the game? It'll be better if its in the game. Simder, anyone 😎😎
There should be weather and pets with the base game
- I believe that this will keep the consumer to busy until the next game or stuff pack. Having animals within the game and weather can add more variety into the next expansion pack instead of redoing the same packs over and over again. Pets like dogs, cats, reptiles(frogs, lizards, snakes), birds(parrots, parakeets), rodents(rabbits, mice, hamsters, chinchillas, gerbils, and that purple thing from the sims 4 first pet stuff). I mean it'll open more possibilities for new ideas.
More Emotions
-The emotions were a nice addition in the Sims 4. Until my sim died from being hysterical, but I want more emotions besides the basics.
Music
-Because the Sims 3 music is better than the Sims 4 so....
Create-A-Style(Base Game)
-Instead of a color wheel maybe let us have sliders for our skin tones, eyes, hair, makeup, and clothes.
-Have sim be able to wear each article of clothes separately like with the sims 2 on the ps2.
-Since we can now create transgender sims, have the clothes fit the sims body.
-Expand the sims 4 body modification formula. I want to see sims like completely different from each other.
-I want more traits and aspirations! For the traits to be at least five or six for young adults-elders, four for teens, three for kids, and two for toddlers.
-Traits like workaholic, absent-minded, brave, excitable, and most traits from the sims 3 should return.
-Make more aspirations for the base game.
-The likes/dislike system and the attraction system should be in as well.
-I want height sliders because I'm literally the size of a kid.
-Body hair, cool and cute looking tattoos, piercings, and nails. I mean it don't have to be amazing. Simple will be nice.
-Already have Afro-eccentric and textured hairstyles within the base games!
Gameplay(Base Game)
-There should be more places that should be open like a store, i.e. grocery store. I kinda want schools to open as well.
-Careers like Military, Police, Burglars, Firefighters, Culinary, Art, Scientist, Newspaper, Tech guru, and Doctors should automatically be in the game.
-More careers types like being a teacher and mechanic. I want more common jobs.
-Self made careers like Social media and gardeners can be in the base game.
-Hobbies like knitting and scale modeling should be in the game as well.
-There should be consequences for not paying bills, like first no water, then electricity and finally repo men coming to take stuff, the amount that you will have to pay. Then your water and electricity should be turned back on.
-There should more events. Funerals, graduation party, honeymoon, baby showers, etc.
-The calendar system should have an option for your household only experience a holiday.
-More cute interactions for sims that's dating(holding hands while walking, occasional kisses on the cheeks or lips, fiddling with rings if their lover are dead)
-Small details like making the bed are amazing and missed
-CARS!!!!!!!
-Better babies!
Build/Buy Mode(Base Game)
-Laptops and bunk beds should already be in the game.
-I want matching swatches for wooden items.
Too be honest I'm not a builder. Y'all can comment what you guys think should be included in this.
I believe I got everything off my chest. Thanks for reading my list of things I want to see in the Sims 5! Whenever it comes out.
