Chapter 2. School IS living hell

I was walking to lunch with my packed lunch when the popular girls walked by. P-please don’t s-see me, please d-don’t. “Oh look who it is, little miss stuttering freak. What are YOU doing here?”  J-just great, t-they saw m-m-me.

“W-what do you w-want Jessica?”

“What do I want? Hmm, let me see.. I want you DEAD!” I went silent.

“W-well sorry f-for your l-l-luck but t-that ain’t h-h-happening.” She smirked.

“Oh, but it can happen sweetheart and it WILL.” She smirked again and walks away her two friends walking away with her. H-how exactly i-is she g-g-gonna kill m-me? I sigh and walk to my table I always sit at to find the boy who sat near me during my last period sitting there waiting for me.

“There you are! I was wondering when ya would come.” He smiled warmly which caused me to blush a little.

I smiled shyly. “Hehe, y-yeah sorry a-about keeping you w-w-waiting. Th-those popular g-girls won’t leave m-me be.”

“Oh..” He sighed. “Those girls think they run the school when really they don’t. I wish those bitches would get a taste of their own medicine for once.”

I giggled.“Th-that would b-be the best.”

He smiled. “It would, wouldn’t it? Heh, you know.. Your kinda cute when you stutter.”

I blushed a lot. “I-i am?” He nodded.

I blushes a ton and hid my face which made him chuckle. “Aww, are you embarrassed?”

“Wh-what? N-no!”

He smirked. “Sure ya aren’t~”

My face started to heat up more and I hid my face again hoping he didn’t notice.

He just chuckled again and put his hand on my chin, lifting my chin gently so he could see my face. “I don’t care what others think about me asking this.”

I tilted my head confused.

He sighed and smiled a little. “Jewels.. I..” He blushed when he tried to say something. “ I love you.”

He looked away his face getting red and I giggled. I kissed his cheek which caused him to look at me shocked. “I-i love y-y-you too Z-zane.”

“ h-how did you..?”

I giggled. “ h-how did I-i-i know your n-name? E-everyone t-t-talks about y-you silly.”

He blushed and smiled. “ oh right.. Heh, I forgot.” I smiled shyly. “So.. do you want to be my girlfriend?” He looked away thinking I would say no.

“Y-yes.”  

He looked at me surprised, but then smiled and kissed my cheek. “I promise I won’t ever love anyone but you sweetie.”

I blushed when he called me that and smiled a little. He looked around, sighed, grabbed my hand and took me to an empty classroom. I tiled my head confused. That’s when he leaned in close to me and kissed me. My whole face went red, but I decide to close my eyes and kiss him back. We pulled back from each other our faces beet red and we looked away from each other.

He looked at me and smirked. “Your cute when you stutter, but your cuter when you blush.”

I hid my face which was still beet red. He chuckled and kissed my head. “I love you my cutie.”

“I-i l-l-love y-you t-t-too.” He took my hand and lead me back to the lunch room. We sat back down at our table and talked until I heard a strange noise.

“W-what was t-that?” I asked.

He shrugged. “I’m not sure.”

“I-i’ll go ch-check it o-out then..”

He smiled. “Okay I'm coming with. Stay close to me cause I don’t want my cutie to get hurt.”

I blushed and smiled. “O-ok.” We got up and went to the recess area which was just a big grassy area kids hang out at and chat. We looked around seeing nothing suspicious at first. Then I heard someone talking and looked around till I saw a boy talking to himself. I tilted my head confused. He had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a green shirt with jeans with a green beanie on his head. I tapped Zane’s shoulder and he looked at me. I pointed over at the boy and Zane saw him.

“So that’s who made that noise, huh. What’s he doing here though? I’ve never seen him at this school or anywhere to be honest.” I shrugged and got an idea.

“W-why don’t w-we s-s-sneak over a-and see wh-what he’s s-saying?”

He nodded and smiled. “Good idea. I’ll follow you since your the one who made the idea after all cutie.”

I blushed and nodded shyly, then we snuck over to the boy without him knowing.

“How the hell did I end up here? Ugh, just grand. Stupid self always ending up some random place. Good going Ben.”

I looked at Zane and he looked at me. “Well at least we know his name now.” He whispered to me.

I smiled. “Y-yeah, that’s a s-start.” I whispered back. We looked back at the boy who seemed to be trying to call someone on his phone.

“WHAT?!? NO WIFI?!?” He seemed very annoyed. “Just-” Zane covered my ears and I looked at Zane confused. He uncovered my ears and sighed.

“He cussed and since your all innocent, I didn’t want to take that from you.”

I nodded and smiled. We snuck back over to the recess doors.

Zane opened the door for me which caused me to blush a little and smile. “T-thanks.” He nodded and looked back at the boy which still didn’t see us. He looked back at the school building and followed after me not realizing the boy just now saw us.

“... Welp, I guess this school can’t be too bad if there’s a cute girl here.” Ben smirked and hacked into the computer adding his old name to the system to make it seem like he just joined the system, then entered the building.

I was sitting with Zane at my table when I noticed him. “...”

    “Jewels, is there something wrong?” I pointed at Ben. “... oh no.” He looked at me. “Come with me. Now.” He grabbed my hand and took me to an empty classroom. “You know how you said you wanted to summon Ben?”

I nodded. “Y-yeah, why?”

    “That’s him, but he’s in human form right now.”

I went silent. T-that’s him? H-he’s actually k-kinda cute. “H-how did h-he end up h-here though?”

He shrugged. “Who knows. All I know is that I have to keep him away from you. Look, if you see him ignore him. Don’t pay any attention to him, ok?”

I nodded. “O-ok.” As the day went on, I saw the boy more and more often. When I walked past him I swear I saw him wink at me. I ignored it though and acted like he wasn’t there. Once the day was over, I smiled. I started off in the direction to my house. I felt like I was being watched so I turned around. When I saw who it was, I froze. O-oh no.. N-not him...
