Chapter 1

Only the beginning

Great. Why is this guy following me? What the hell does he want? And just as I had found a place to spend the night as well. Guess I have to pull another runner.  

I turn at the end of the road making sure to see where the creepy guy who was following was. Turns out he stopped walking too. What a coincidence... not.

I was actually quite use to this. I don't know what it was with me but I seemed to just attract bad people. God please lend me yours strength. If only mother was here with me now....

Be strong

Deep breaths. And....

RUN!!!!

I start running at top speed trying to outrun this guy. It was at times like this that being on the tract team helped but surprisingly this guy seemed to be keeping up with me. Not to brag or anything but I was pretty fast. Once I saw an opportunity I took it.

I starts running towards what looked to be short enough fence for me to climb and jump over.

"Stop following me!!!"

"Creep get away from me!!"

I starts shouting at the guy hoping it'll put him off if he gets any unwanted attention but since it's already pretty dark out and the streets are almost empty it doesn't deter him from chasing me. Once I get to the fence I immediately run up it and flip my legs around the side jumping perfectly over it.

As Im still in mid flight I see a shrine on the other side. What was even more surprising is that this was the shrine I secretly visited sometimes leaving them some offerings here and there. When I finally landed swiftly on the floor, I was met by four wide and shocked eyes.

"Umm.... does anyone know what just happened." The blonde haired boy continues "Are we getting robbed?"

I put my hands up showing I wasn't going to harm them and that I wasn't just trying to break in.

"Where did you go!!!" I hear the man scream from afar.

"Oh my god did you rob that poor guy" the raven haired boy says looking at me accusingly with a big frown.

"No I did not. For you information he was chasing me!" I retort in a friendly way. I mean I did just break into their shrine.

They all look at me up and down. I happen to be wearing a big hoodie and have tucked my unusually long hair inside my hood. None of them seemed to say anything instead they just looked at me confused.

"Right well... I better be going now-"

"Aha! That's it your the one who always comes here secretly at night and leaves offerings!" My heart quickens as I try to hide my emotions.

"Sorry.." I smile brightly "you must have gotten me confused with someone else."

He smiles dimers and as I start walking off I pass the raven haired blue. His blue electrifying eyes making me want to gaze at them forever.

"Wait-"

"Whose this? And what is she doing in the back of the shrine?" Says a rather tall and built man who stands protector in-front of the pink haired girl who he just interrupted.

"Ah I'm..."

Should I tell them my name? I could always make up one? I mean they own a shrine and I don't want to lie in front of the gods.

"Yuna..." I hesitate "Ōkami Yuna" I finally say. " there's been a misunderstanding I didn't mean to jump over your fence... I just found myself in a predicament, I apologise I'm leaving now." I reassure him his scowl seems to lighten a bit as I step around him and start walking out of the shrine.

Well guess I have to find another sleeping spot for tonight. Better go and get my things before the creep goes back there. Whilst I head back to the abandoned apartment it starts to pouring rain and I find myself pushing my tired body to run. This time I make sure no one's following me, and as I reach the door and open it I'm glad to see the guy no where to be seen and instead my clothes right where I left them. 

I prepare myself for the rain again and pull my hood up higher as I start sprinting too a close by Shrine that is never used. When I finally get there I'm relieved to see it empty and run straight to the sheltered part  on the side of it to stop me from getting any wetter than I already am. I take my backpack off once I'm finally free of the rain and I sit down besides my bad and prop myself up against the wall. With a long sigh I allow myself to slowly drift off to sleep.
