Months. Months had passed. Tay'la fearing for his brother refused to leave his side.

"Kai, I need you to keep my kingdom and Ad'ma's in check. I'm sorry, I cannot leave his side, for what if he dies? I don't think I could handle living without him. Nor could he without me." Tay'la's voice was barely a whisper, as if he was scared that someone would find him, as if someone would find his hidden room. Secured by memory keys.

"Fair enough, I'll take my leave then. I hope to see you soon Tay'la. Please send word if Ad'ma awakens." Kai bowed before you leaving the room. Tay'la always wondered why, Kai was of the same status of them, if not higher considering his father's opinion.

As quickly as a god falls, the moon rose. Time couldn't be told from the pitch black room Tay'la hid his brother in, for it was underground, and safer. Once every few minutes the room would illuminate with a divine glow, a miracle. "Please wake up Ad'ma! Please! I fear you may never wake now!" Tay'la's eyes wept a beautiful night sky. His body was hunched over, his weak stature rivaled that of his comatose brother. A war god driven to the point where his body aches to move. A god who hated his role to the point he would make himself incapable of preforming it. Long blackened finger tips rested over the god of medicine's heart, a small glow coming from his hands.

"You- you never were good at healing miracles, you know?" A voice belonging to Ad'ma spoke, it was followed by a coughing fit, it was wet, as if blood came up.

"Brother? Brother, have you awaken? Or do my ears decieve me?" Tay'la's body jolted to an upright position, followed by a loud cracking coming from his joints. "you have awakened! Oh thank the moon!" His voice was at a normal level, which was rare for him. Anything above a whisper was drastic.

"Relax Brother, I was simply resting so my wounds my heal. You're attempts at it did help though." Ad'ma slowly moved a shaking hand to his blindfold, slowly removing it. His divine light lit up the room, illuminating everything. "Brother, you seem even smaller than last time. You must eat and move your body."

"I don't care about any of that!" He slowly raised himself to his feet, his legs shaking from the task. "I am just glad you are back, and while I wish I could speak to you about what happened. Kai seems to be losing patience with me. I left both kingdoms to him."

"Why? What have you been doing?" He quized.

"I haven't left this room, same as you." He became defensive, as if it was an accusation rather than a question. "I had to watch over you! I couldn't leave the task to a- a human!" He stuttered.

"The actions of one human do not ruin the rest." Ad'ma spoke wisely, beginning to stand up as well, "I have a kingdom to run, I must return to it. And decide a punishment for the man who did this to me." He started to walk off, but with a limp. He hadn't fully healed.

"Oh, goodbye Brother." He whispered, his voice becoming sullen.

"Peace be upon you." The other waved back, before the room became dark again.

And so Night has fallen on Zédel,
While the sun rises in Lanya.
