Rob didn't want to go back to school. He could still hear the alarm ringing on his ears. In an attempt to reach it, he tried grabbing it with his hand, but only succeeded in trashing everything that was on top of the end table. He opened his eye and looked at the junk he threw on the ground. Thankfully, none of his action figures was broken, which was a miracle since he also had thrown some dumbbells along with it. What surprised him more was the alarm, which was on the floor, far enough to force him to get up of the bed to turn it off.

Dammit...Not again!

He fell of the bed with a loud sound and crawled his way to turn it off. Before he could snooze it, the alarm stopped. Rob let his head fall to the floor, defeated. He heard a voice coming through the door:

"Hey, Pipsqueak! I'll drag you out to school in half an hour whether you're ready or not! I'd suggest you get a move on!", after the brief message, he heard steps moving away.

Rob started by getting up from the floor. It wasn't really a comfortable place to lie down, after all. He opened his eyes ever so slightly before he felt a scorching pain in his right eye. What an annoyance. He walked past the elastic bands that were hanged on the wall and the huge pile of dirty laundry that was under them. He faced the closet, from which he pulled out one of the many school uniforms and got changed. After he ungracefully put on his clothes, he clumsily went downstairs, balancing left to right with each step.

Rob entered the kitchen, where he saw his brother already taking his breakfast. It was very small section, only having space for the table and a kitchen separator which had the very bare minimums, a fridge, a dishwasher, a sink, and compartments to keep the tools and spices. It was weird seeing an extremely muscled twenty year old man sitting at a small chair drinking his protein shake and eating entire raw eggs with each bite. The only source of light was a window to his left that was barely open. Rob proceeded to take one of the seats of the table.

"David, did you put the alarm a million miles away from my bed again?!"

"Yeah, and I would do it again! It's the only way to get your slowpoke ass out of bed! Your school is very rigid when it comes to being punctual!"

Rob stared at his brother and stayed silent. Although what he did was extremely annoying, he had a point. Rob had lost count of the times he barely made it to class because of oversleeping. He looked down and noticed what his brother put on the table.

"What's this?"

"Well, it's your breakfast of course!"

"You mean...", Rob grabbed hold of what was on the table and lift it up,"this milk carton is my breakfast?"

"Yeah, you're too much of a pipsqueak, so you need to drink lots of milk to grow up nice and healthy!"

"Well... Fine", Rob grabbed the milk carton, and proceeded to chug it all down. Maybe if it was someone else, they would've asked if drinking half a gallon of milk during breakfast would be a bad idea, but he didn't like to think through things too much.

"So, how did you get that black eye again?"

"I ran to a door"

David moved his uni brow and scratched his bald head. He stared at Rob with his brown eyes and bit his lip while he analyzed his brother.

"Well, if you don't want to tell me it's fine. But if you ever need help just ask me. After all, we're brothers. We have each other's back right?", he presented him with a closed fist.

"Right.", Rob said with a smile on his face while he fist bumped him.

David looked at his watch, "Wait, half an hour has passed! We're getting out! Also, you put your shirt and pants backwards, pipsqueak."
