The pen tower Rob had so enthusiastically build had toppled over. He stopped himself from sighing, even if he was in the back row, he could still get called out. He looked at the newbie. Eyes always fixed forward, scribbling down every single detail that came out of the teacher's mouth.

How exhausting.

He double checked the board and saw that there wasn't anything new written there. When he started grabbing multiple of his pens for a second try at the marvelous structure that had fallen previously, the person in front of him passed him a note with the words 'Directed to: Flea'. Ignoring the anger at the very first message, Rob grabbed the folded piece of paper and started unraveling it.

Dear Flea,

You're lucky I'm in a good mood, or else I wouldn't even tell you this, but I'D suggest you step away from her as fast as you could. She's known as the school's best for a reason. Being a teacher's pet always gets her some extra points so you can be assured she will tell on you if she sees you doing something "against school regulations". No need to thank me, I'm enough of a nice person to help even the tiniest bug.

It wasn't signed but Rob guessed it was from Rosa. There was no one else that could trigger that feeling of uneasiness within him as well as her. He angrily crumbled it and stashed it inside his backpack. He scanned the room for her and saw her at the front. Rosa was already staring at him, with a mocking smile on her face.

"Aren't you...forgetting something, Rob?", Julia approached Rob as they were leaving the classroom.

"Am i?", Rob stared at her in confusion with his brown eyes.

Julia did an eye roll and puffed,"Weren't you going to help me... catch up? What happened to mister... 'You needed help and i offered... is that simple?' "

Rob embarrassingly looked at the floor,"But, we have no more classes today. Can't we just do that tomorrow? During lunch break or something?"

"...No. I can't stay behind...or else i won't understand anything. It would also help... grasp today's lessons"

He hesitated. There was a high risk in staying school late. He took another look at Julia, staring angrily at him, "Well...If you say so"

"Let's...hurry up, the library will close soon."

"Of course, milady", Rob did an exaggerated gesture.

"...Don't...call me that"

They exited the main building. The last sun rays of the day spread out throughout the school. They passed by the poorly equipped playground on the way, which had not much more than a swing, a slide, and a rusty roundabout. Rob kept looking at his surroundings during the whole way.

"I've...been meaning to ask...", Julia suddenly spoke,"How...did you get that...black eye?"

Rob, taken aback by the sudden question, stopped on his tracks. He put his hand on his right eye,"Oh, this little thing? It's nothing, really".

Julia approached him and moved his hand away, and got closer to his face.

"H-hey! What are you doing ?!", he flustered as he shook off her hand and took a step back.

"I need...to take a look at it. It looks serious", Julia answered, unfazed by his reaction.

"It's not serious I assure you!",Rob tried to give a comforting smile, but only resulted in an awkward one.
