Hot tears roll down my face as I storm away. How could she?  After all theses years she decides to show up and think everything will be perfect? Well, no. Not this time.

I never imagined that this day would come. The day that Luxa comes to the Overland.  A few years ago I would be overjoyed to hear this. But now, no. I'm not the same kid I used to be. I HAVE changed. And if she thinks she can come up here and - "URG!"

My mind races at a million miles an hour.  They need me?

Again? I thought that four years ago was the last prophecy about the "warrior."

I walk towards Lizzie's school, getting there just in the knick of time to see her walk out.

       "Liz."

"Gregor! I didn't think you would come!," she exclaims.

"Yah. Well, I'm here. How was your day?," I say nervously.

        "Fine. Your's?"

"Good. Yah, it was great," I mumble.

We walk in silence of a couple of minutes, giving me time to think.

"Look, Lizzie? There is some business that I need to take care of after I get you home. Okay?," I quickly say before I loose the nerve to say it.

"Okay. Just be sure not to take too long. You know Mother will get worried if your gone long."

"Yah. I know. Just if they start to worry tell them I'm fine and perfectly safe."

"Ooohhh.  You're going THERE," she says like it all makes since now.

By THERE she means the Underland. Mother doesn't let us say THE WORD out loud. She also doesn't let us talk about the Regalians.

But that doesn't mean that I can't think about them. And no matter what she says,  I'm going down there. If the situation was bad enough to send Luxa to the Overland, then it must be pretty bad.

"No. Now, shut up," I say harshly.

After supper I lock myself in my room to plan out the night ahead of me.  I grab my school backpack and dump everything out. I grab some flashlights, extra batteries, ducktape, granola bars, and last but not least Ares's claw. I slip on a light jacket over my white t-shirt even though as I get there I will have to change clothes. Around midnight I slip my backpack over my shoulder and head silently out the door and point my self in the direction of Central Park.
