The Bad Thing

Jenna POV

The sun was shining through the window on the couch which made me wake up. I looked over at the clock and saw that it was 8 o'clock.

I turned my head and noticed Alex's face buried into my chest.

"Alex. Wake up! it's glastonbury today!"

He woke up and looked Into my eyes and gave me a kiss.

"Mornin love. Sleep well?"

"Yeah. It was good."

I leaned over and kissed him lightly on his lips, which lasted about five minutes. I pulled him off the couch and we washed up and had breakfast. The lads were coming over at around 11 so we could start driving to glastonbury.

I noticed that Al was really nervous and he was very quiet.

Alex POV

I had gotten a text from Arielle after I woke up.

From: Arielle

Hey Al. Just wanted to tell you that I'll be at glastonbury! We should catch up

She's acting as if we're still together. I'm worried that I'll start getting feelings for her again, after all I did love her.

Also, if Matt noticed arielle there then I'm screwed. He'll obviously think that I'm cheating on Jenna.

I decided not to answer the text. It was nearing 11, and I heard the doorbell ring. Jenna made her way to open the door and the lads and Breana, Katie, and Kelly made their way in. Suki and Miles trailed in after.

We piled into the large bus which also held our instruments and props for the stage. It was about a 30 minute drive, since we already lived in London.

" yous excited for your headline set tonight?" I heard from miles.

"Ehhhh... Yeah I guess. It's gonna be pretty cool." Jamie answered him.

Typical Jamie.

Jenna POV

I was talking to Miles and Suki since I hadn't seen them in a while.

"So how's it going with you guys? Is alex good in bed?"

"miles! Shut up, she's obviously not going to tell you!" Suki playfully slapped miles on his cheek.

"He's awful!" I replied to Miles to wind up Al.

Alex obviously heard and shot his head up. " Who's awful?"

Suki started giggling and replied to him.

"Jenna says you're awful in bed!"

"I'll have you know I'm amazing in bed! You should've heard her moaning last night"

I suddenly turned a bright red as the lads, Suki, and Breana were cracking up. Matt noticed my discomfort and changed the subject.

"Anyone want some fried chicken?"

Everyone in the bus groaned, since Matt was always asking for fried chicken.

"Ugh Matt! Just ask the driver to stop at a drive thru or summat. We don't have much time, Miles' set is in four hours and ours is in seven." Alex replied to him annoyed.

Breana started laughing.

"Matt! I just made fried chicken last night!"

"Babe it was good but I want moreeeeee"

Matt was an interesting sight, laying on the bus floor, and whining about chicken, waiting for the bus driver to agree to get some drive thru.

"Blimey, I'll get you some damn chicken if you shut up! You're distracting my driving." The bus driver was obviously annoyed by Matt.

Everyone cheered as we made our way and got his food. We were only five minutes away from arriving.

The bus pulled in the backstage area for the performers and we unloaded everything to get ready for the performance. I noticed Haim exiting the stage and Jake Bugg making his way on.

The monkeys and Miles had their own dressing rooms and we chilled in there until Miles was ready to perform. I noticed Miles getting nervous and I made my way over to calm him down.

"Miles, babe, don't worry. You're going to do amazing ok? Go out and rock it!"

"Oh Jenna, I love you darlin."

I gave him a giant bear hug and made our way over backstage with the rest of our group.

During the whole performance, Miles was filled with energy and the crowd was really getting into it.

A sweaty Miles exited the stage and we all jumped on him with a hug. We made our way back into the dressing room for a bit of pre show drinking.

It was almost time for the monkeys to go on, and they were obviously beyond nervous.

I was sitting Al's lap and i turned around to face him.

"Al, I love you so much. You're gonna do great ok? You guys are absolutely amazing, you're fucking headlining! Don't worry, I swear it's gonna be alright. "

He leaned his head towards me and kissed me passionately. The guys were making sexual noises to annoy us but we found it funny.

"Get a damn room will ya?" Nick was screaming from the other side of the room.

Miles answered him just as loud.

"Mate, I wouldn't mind if you shagged Kelly in front of us! Go ahead."

We all started laughing, it was obvious he was trying to make them a bit more relaxed since they were literally shaking.

A short man popped his head in the door " you lads better make your way to the stage, you're on in a minute"

I kissed Alex hard on the lips and sent him on stage. Kelly, Breana, and Katie gave their monkeys a good luck kiss and they went on. We all stayed backstage to watch.

The familiar riff of do I wanna know started, and I noticed that they were a bit more calm now.

The whole show was packed with their best songs, the crowd was enjoying it, Alex,Jamie, Nick, and Matt were obviously having the time of their lives.

Alex was adorable and sung his mum happy birthday along with the crowd, we were going to her house afterwards to celebrate.

505 was their last song, and Miles made his way on stage with two cigarettes.

"I'm going back to 505

If it's a seven hour flight or a 45 minute drive

In my imagination you're waiting lying on your side with your hands between your thighs"

The song was coming to an end and the crowd was screaming and crying, it was the most amazing performance ever.

Miles ended the song , waved goodbye to the crowd, and left the stage. The monkeys stayed on to say their goodbyes. I felt my dry throat because of all the screaming and left quickly to get a water bottle. I sprinted, wanting to be the first person to greet Al.

I got a quick drink and walked back to instead be shocked, feeling my heart being broken into millions of pieces. My vision went blurry, and I felt myself light headed.

The girl from the picture was there, backstage, kissing Al. And alex wasn't doing anything to try and push her away.

I quickly left the stage area, and heard my name being shouted by Miles and Matt.
