A/N: OK, so this is being written after Flashback. Also, just warning you, I am a fitzphie shipper. like, hardcore. . . Aaaaaanywaaaayyyy, If you aren't, than drop a comment, and I'll see what I can do.
"Hey it's ok." Edaline comforted in her soothing voice.
Sophie lay in a pile of blankets heaping into a mountain on top of her bed. When Sophie got back from the matchmaking center, all she could do was stare off into space and let Edaline coax food into her. Her parents hadn't told anybody yet, to give Sophie some time.
The next day passed in a blur of sleeping and eating. Nobody knew and Sophie wanted it to stay that way. She couldn't bear what it would be like telling Fitz.
She snapped from her half sleep, suddenly alert. Fitz. She had to tell him about her being unmatchable . She slid out of bed and pulled on black pants and a red tunic. Fitz had said red looked good on her. Vertina guided her through a hairslyle that created two braids starting at the top of her head, and slipping over her shoulders. To show everybody that she was really fine, she put on gold eyeliner and wore her best smile as she grabbed her boots.
As soon as the last lace on her left boot was done, she was down the stairs and walking to the dining room. Right as she was about to sit, Grady walked into the room and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry soph, It'll be fine." He said, guessing her intention of talking to her friends.
Shortly after breakfast, Sandor, Bo, Flori, and Tarina were gathered by the door Nubiti had come above ground to check on Sophie then tunneled back underground to follow from there.
"Well" Sandor squeaked, "Let's go to Everglen"
A/N: Sorry, but I feel the need to end on a cliffhanger. I promise I will write more as soon as I can. Anyways, make sure you wear your safety helmets. Ok I will stop torturing you with my awful humor. . .
