Chapter 15 | i cant be without you

I turned the handle for the shower to the left as I got out, I ran my hands through my wet hair trying to drain out as much as I could.

I grabbed a towel which was hanging up beside me and wrapped it around my waist.

"Good morning baby" I said to Ethan as I placed my hands around his waist and kissed his shoulder softly

Ethan smiled as he continued to brush his teeth "good morning" he said almost spitting out minty foam all over the place

I looked into the mirror at his reflect and smiled at him until I suddenly felt faint.
Ethan seemed to have noticed when his facial expression changed, I then immediately fell backwards onto the hard cold tile floor.

Ethan's pov:

I sat in the medical room with Grayson in bed beside me, I couldn't stop starring at him, knowing what I'll have to tell him hurt my heart.

I watched as his eyes fluttered softly, his eyes slowly opened and he looked over to me lazily.

"What happened?" He asked in a croaky voice from his throat being so dry

"You fainted gray" I said sadly knowing I'll eventually have to tell him why

"Why do you look so upset then?" He asked sitting up slowly and placing his legs on the edge of the bed to look at me better

I stood up and stood in between his legs, I placed my hands on the back of his neck and sighed. "It's because the gravity here is different then how it is on earth, it's stressing your heart out and making it have to work a lot harder" I said

Graysons eyes became sad and confused, he looked down at his hands which were resting on his lap "is  anything they can do about it?" He asked

"Yes, they can take you home" I said

Graysons head suddenly jolted up and his eyes looked into mine harshly "how dare you" he spoke

"I never want to go back there Ethan! That world is evil and cruel! I want to live here where all I have to worry about it what I have for breakfast! Where I can adventure this new world with you everyday, and live happily" Grayson said obviously very angry with my suggestion

"That's all we can do gra-" I began but was soon cut off by a very angry Grayson

"No! I will stay here even if it kills me! let's get married and have fun together while I still can!" Grayson argued

"But- Grayson, you only have a few months if you stay here" I said grabbing Graysons hands and looking into his eyes genuinely concerned for his health

"Ethan, please" Grayson pouted "I cant live without you in my life"

"I'd rather live knowing you are alive then knowing you could die any minute" I said placing a hand on Graysons jaw and looking at him genuinely

Grayson simply turned away and lied on the bed facing away from me, he placed the blankets over his shoulder and looked out the window of the medical centre.

I decided that I should give him some space for awhile to realize the risks he's taking and what he had said.

I sat in the waiting room of the medical centre and prayed that Grayson would call for me to come and tell me he wants to go to earth, where he can live his full life.

A/n;
I didn't like the old chapter soooooo :)

Sorry I haven't posted in so long guys I've been super backed up and I'm currently on vacation lmao but I felt kinda inspired so I decided to write :)
