Chapter 11 | secret

I woke up the next morning in bed alone, I sighed as I kinda wanted to wake up beside Ethan just to see his reaction.

Would he regret what happened?

Does he regret what happened?

Is that why he left in the night?

I shook off my worries and got up from bed, I put on a new pair on boxers and walked out of my room, I really need to shower.

I walked into the kitchen deciding that would probably the first place Ethan could be.

Once I walked in the kitchen I saw Ethan sitting at the table eating, he was only wearing red shorts and no shirt which made my face slightly red.

I sat down beside Ethan and rested my head on the table tiredly.

"What is going on today?" I asked not looking at Ethan; nervous for how he may look at me

"I need you to inspect something later but for now nothing, but you might want to shower" Ethan said casually as he continued eating whatever it was he had

I looked up at Ethan "Are we ever going to talk about what happened last night?" I asked looking into his eyes

He bit his lip and leaned back in his chair, "No, we can't. There's nothing to talk about" Ethan said as he grabbed his bowl and walked towards the sink

I swear my jaw dropped on the ground. "what the hell are you talking about! Yesterday night you were all over me and now you want to pretend it didn't even happen?!" I yelled as I walked over to Ethan angrily

"I have to!" Ethan snapped back

"Says who?!" I asked crossing my arms across my chest and leaning against the counter

"Says the council! They would never allow me to marry a man! They would say it's me being irrational and stupid! And that I'm to young to be responsible with this" Ethan said running a hand through his hair

I rolled my eyes "bullshit" I said under my breath as I turned around and began to walk away

Suddenly I felt as Ethan pulled me back, I looked back at him as he pushed me against the wall, he pressed his hand against my chest and moved his gave close to mine.

"I like you Grayson I really, really do but if I were to say anything about dating or having sex with a man I will be de-crowned, my parents did NOT die for me to not be king" Ethan said and soon walked away

I scoffed as I walked the opposite way to the other hallway the kitchen leads to.

I walked down the hall angrily and soon found a door, curiously I walked inside to see it was multiple stalls, is this a public bathroom or something?

I looked inside one of the stalls to see a shower head and two bottles on the side.

I looked around making sure no one was inside before walking in the stall and dropping my boxers.

I turned on the water and walked Into the warm stream of water, I instantly sighed as I felt my stress and worries go away, just for right now.

I picked up one of the bottles to see it looked kinda like soap, I squirted some in my hair and messaged it in my scalp loving the feeling of finally having a real shower since I was on earth. (Cause there were no showers on the ship... only sinks)

Once I was done my shower I looked around for a towel but couldn't find any, I growled as I put on my boxers still soaking wet and walked back towards my room making a wet trail behind me as water dripped down my legs and face.

As I walked down Ethan and my bedroom hallway his door opened and I stopped in my tracks.

Ethan walked out of his room and looked at me and instantly started to laugh.

"What's so funny?" I asked grouchily

"You're soaked" Ethan said as he stopped laughing

I rolled my eyes "Well there wasn't anything to dry me off with so..." I said crossing my arms trying to warm myself up

Ethan rolled his eyes "follow me" he said with a smile as he led me towards the kitchen and the same hallway I had just gone down.

Once we passed the bathroom I had gone in I furrowed my eyebrows confused as to where we could be going.

Suddenly Ethan stopped and walked through a door, I followed behind him to be led into a new bathroom which was much bigger and basically looked like a bathroom suite in some mansion.

"Here" Ethan said as he handed me a towel

I smiled and took the towel, I dried my hair off with it and then wrapped it around my body as it was really cold in the castle.

I then looked up to thank Ethan and leave only to see him in the shower, my fave instantly heated up and I felt my boxer tighten.

Shit.

I bit my lip as I argued with myself in my mind wether or not to join him, when I finally made my decision I dropped my towel and took off my boxers, I Then walked into the shower with Ethan.

"W-what are you doing!?" Ethan asked startled as I closed the shower door behind me

"If we can't date we my as well just hook up" I said with a smirk

Ethan bit his lip "I can't" he said

My eyebrows pushed together "c'mon! I've been through a lot this year, and now that I'm finally happy with you here you're going to ruin everything? It's not like I have anyone to tell about it" I said

Suddenly I felt as Ethan's lips pressed against mine, after the surprise I relaxed and melted into the kiss and wrapped my arm around the back of Ethan's neck and felt as he softly pushed my back against the wall.
