(Isaac POV)
It was raining pretty hard outside when there was a sudden knock on the door. Derek sniffed the air and we all became cautious. We don't generally get visitors where we were and we all didn't feel like dealing with Scott or his goons Derek's eyes widened and he sprinted to the door, opening it to reveal a girl about my age on her knees, covered in blood as she stared at the ground. Derek's breath hitched as the girl looked up, tears streaming down her face next to the rain drops and her soaking wet hair. Derek bent down to her height and lifted her chin.
"(Y/n)..." he whispered. "What happened to you..." Derek said before picking the girl called (Y/n) up gently. I'd never seen Derek with a worried expression. He placed her gently down on the softest place he could which was a battered couch. (Y/n) was clearly traumatized, her hands stained red with blood, most likely. Derek tried to get a response from (Y/n)... anything, but she was staring at the ceiling, tears rolling down her cheeks as she trembled with both fear and lack of body heat.
"Erika. Get a blanket." Derek said, not taking his eyes off (Y/n). It was also obvious that Derek knew (Y/n) from the way he blurted her name out with concern.
"(Y/n)... Where were you...?" Derek asked, careful not to spook the trembling girl. She turned to look at him, her eyes glazed over with fear.
"Give me your hand, Derek..." she said weakly. He took her hand, (Y/n)'s eyes immediately turning a glowing purple. Derek stared, (Y/n)'s fear flashing in his eyes before (Y/n)'s eyes changed back to their beautiful (e/c) color. Derek was panting as Erika walked in with a blanket. Derek cupped (Y/n)'s tear stained cheek in his rough hand before speaking.
"What did they do to you..." he said. I could only imagine what (Y/n) had been through from the way that Derek reacted... The pure anger and fear as he took care of (Y/n). She was in shock for a few hours before she yelped, making Derek rush to her side with Erika, Boyd, and I practically at his heels. (Y/n) was panting as she held her head, whimpering as she began to shake in fear. Derek wasn't sure what to do as (Y/n) struggled from a bad anxiety attack. Derek knew I had a little knowledge on what was happening so he looked at me and moved aside. I was shocked by his actions, but he clearly had a soft spot for (Y/n). She was curled up in a ball on the couch which was never good for a panic attack.
"I going to have to touch you to help you. I'm not a threat, okay?" I said, steadying my heart rate to a calm pace so she would know I was calm. She only nodded in response, but I gently helped her sit up, moving her knees away from her chest so she could breathe better. She was sobbing by now so I made sure that she wasn't nervously scratching any part of her body. When I noticed her hands shaking as he nails started to pick at her skin nervously, I gently took her hands and put them in mine.
"Sh~ It's all going to be okay. You're safe with us now. We wont let anything happen to you. Derek, Erika, Boyd, and I... We're all here for you..." I said softly as I held her hands away from her soft skin.
"Can I hug you?" I asked as she started to calm, but only slightly. She nodded in response to what I had asked. I gently pulled her into my arms where she broke down into tears, soaking my shirt and gripping the back of my shirt, almost screaming as she cried. Derek took a step forwards to try and help, but I signaled for him to stay back. (Y/n) sobbed in my arms until she ran out of tears, crying herself to sleep in my arms. Derek looked more concerned than I had ever seen him.
"Was that supposed to be so intense?" Derek asked, keeping his distance still, knowing (Y/n) would sob if she was woken up by anything that could startle her.
"For her amount of pain... yeah..." I said, moving some hair out of (Y/n)'s peaceful looking face. She almost looked happy when she slept. I found myself smiling at her as she slept, Derek acted like he didn't notice, knowing that he couldn't do anything without waking (Y/n) up. My legs began to fall asleep, so I carefully moved (Y/n) and I into a laying down position on the couch. She didn't even stir as I did so. Derek sighed and Erika and Boyd had started making some coffee since it was now early in the morning. I couldn't stop smiling at (Y/n), playing with her (h/c) hair. I could feel Derek's eyes on me, but I didn't find him a threat to me since I wasn't going to pull anything and the fact that Derek's soft spot for (Y/n) prevents him from growling at me. Derek was going to make us all go to school today, but I wasn't allowed to leave. It was painfully obvious that Derek had no idea how to take care of (Y/n)'s intense panic attacks. He also didn't want me to move since (Y/n) hadn't woken up yet. My shirt was still damp from the salty tears that (Y/n) had poured onto my shoulder and chest. I still didn't mind it, my mind wandering to (Y/n)'s past. What had happened to give her such bad anxiety attacks? I noticed that (Y/n)'s heart beat was in sync with me which made me smiled despite my slight confusion. I placed a kiss on her forehead before falling asleep on the couch with (Y/n) in my arms. Derek was so going to kill me for placing a kiss on her head, but I just couldn't help myself. There was just something about her... that I loved... (Y/n) was going to be asleep for a little while, but I wasn't going to sleep until I knew she wouldn't wake up from anxiety.
Eventually, it was time for Erike, Boyd, and I to go to school, but Derek only sent Erika and Boyd. I knew he was worried about (Y/n) having an anxiety attack without someone like me to calm her down which is why I would be here with her until she could go to school with me, probably in all my classes as well. (Y/n) was asleep until 7:30 in the morning and when she woke up, she groaned and shifted in a bad place. I held back my own groan from her shifting as Derek walked in. He got to (Y/n)'s side, but she still had her head buried in the chest of my shirt, eyes closed but flickering open eventually."Morning (Y/n)~" I cooed as she groaned and shifted again, making my breath hitch slightly at the friction.
"Good night~" she said, slurring her words. Derek for once let out a chuckle and I smiled at the adorable girl on my chest.
"(Y/n), I made breakfast. Come on, get up." Derek said sternly. (Y/n) shifted again, making a slight growl rumble in my throat as I prayed that Derek wouldn't get the wrong impression.
"Cooozzzzyyy~" she said through a yawn. I chuckled and she looked up at me with half-lidded eyes. I blushed at how adorable she was before she sprawled herself across my chest.
"Okay, that's enough!" Derek snapped as he grabbed (Y/n) by the hips and dragged her off of me. She tried to wriggle away from Derek, growling and squirming in anger, even landing a few kicks and slaps here and there. Derek sat her at the table and she froze at the smell of steak. She looked down and her eyes flashed in excitement. Derek nudged her, signaling her to eat the meat he cooked. She didn't fight back for once, but she ate normally without desperately eating, probably too shy to just dig in. I stayed with (Y/n) all day to make sure that she didn't have another anxiety attack.
