(Y/n's pov)

"Y/n, did you see Sero today~! He looked so cute in that jacket!!" My best friend, Mina, said as she and my other friend Ochacco sat on my dorm room floor.

"Yeah yeah. Ah, that reminds me, I'm going on a date with Midoriya tomorrow! Mina can you help with my make up? And Y/n you need to help pick an outfit, please?" Ochacco said.

"Of course~!" I said. Ah, the fact that my friends have someone they love, and one is actually together with them, makes me realise how lonely I'm going to be. 

"Oh, speaking of Midoriya, didn't he say there was a new guy in the guy's dorms?" Mina asked.
"Oh yeah, I think his name is Shinsou." Ochacco said.

"Mmm, ya' think he's hot? Maybe he would interest you, eh?" Mina elbowed me and wiggled her eyebrows.

"Oh, shut up. I hardly think any real human could reach my standards. Anime has just, y'know." I said motioning to all my anime poster and body pillows.

"Yeah. I guess your hopeless!" Mina shrugged her shoulders.

"I guess." I sighed.

I woke up the next morning feeling full of hate for some reason. Perhaps it was hate for school. For most humans. Who knows?

I got out of bed and got ready for school. After a quick shower, I wore the last of my clean clothes. Dammit, a crop top. Ew. At least I have clean trackies to wear.

"You ready for schoooool?" I heard Mina call from outside my room.

"Yeah, just finding my shoes!" I called back.

I opened the door and left the dorms with Mina.

"Oh, a crop top~" Mina said as we walked to the school buildings.

"It's all that's clean. Imma hafta do some laundry after school." I explained.

"Mmm, maybe you're actually trying to impress someone? Now who could it be..." Mina said and went into deep thought 

"Whatever. I'm going this way then. See ya at recess." I said and left Mina to go to my first class.

Ah. Maths. How... Delightful. It was my first subject for today.

Mr. Aizawa entered the room five minutes late as usual, except this time he had a student with him.

"Class, we have a new student. Introduce yourself." Aizawa said.

"I'm Hitoshi Shinsou." The new student said. He was kind of tall, and had messy purple hair. And really tired eyes. But it was kind of cute sort of.

"Okay, uh... The only spare seat is next to Y/n. In the back corner there." Mr. Aizawa said and pointed at me.

Oh great, I thought I could be left alone in this corner. Shinsou sat down quietly, not saying another word. 

As Mr. Aizawa explained some thing I already knew, Mina started texting me.
