Six - 'Not a date' Date

Shakshi's Pov

I was googling on some invitation designs in my laptop. Ari bought a bucket chicken from Kfc and settled herself beside me with popping a piece into her mouth.

My eyes started to get tired after all the scrollings of designs. I knew that nothing could satisfy Mr.Arrogant.
Ari found her phone ringing and went to answer it.

She jumped up in joy after attending the call, came running to me for a teddy hug. I calmed her down but her reply made me to panic.

"Stepho called me and told to make this sunday free as Mr.douchebag asked two of the students to accompany him for inviting the guests." after squealing out her lungs she continued, "and... It's going to by date."

Stephan was our class representative and also my Ari's boyfriend. These two are quite a love couple in our college.

But what I worried about was, we all are going together? And that with Mr. Arrogant. Destiny never fails me!

I explained Ari about all the things happened with him and how he didn't even apprecitated me even as a girl. She consoled me and helped me finish my paperwork for Mr. Arrogant.

Next day I submitted with all other's design and paperworks. He handed us a file inreturn and ordered to make the arrangements according to it.

He had already completed the work. His idea and theme was marvellous. He might got a good brain only his heart was crooked. Then why did he wanted us to do the design when he already finalized his own work? Mr.Typical.

This meeting with him went smooth as we were not alone. Yet I could sense his glare at me now and then.

Dr. Sharath and his team was already started to blow out candles for up coming celebration. They went out for  group lunch for their discussion. I envied Ari just by sitting in my class and going through his presentation. It was so perfect but I hate to appreciate that fact!

In the evening Ari and I after our college went shoping for Ari's date with Stephan and mine 'note a date' Date with Mr.Arrogant!

Ari was on cloud nine even after going out so many times with him. Me on the other hand... Starring blankly hoping for no roller coaster ride tomorrow. Nothing much to say!

Ari bought so much dress and make up things while I just bought a golden dangling earrings to pair with my white anarkali which I had planned to wear tomorrow.

After supper with Ari, I stirred repeatedly shuffling my covers in bed. I couldn't sleep. I didn't want an another disaster with him. Ari told me that she would take bike ride with Stephan and will follow us behind.

Mr. Arrogant wouldn't choose a bike ride with me in his right senses. But a travel alone with him was enough to send chills down my spine.

Next morning, Ari looked gorgeous in her green salwar. Actually she hates green. When Stephan arrived at our doorsteps to pick her, then I noticed him wearing green shirt. Love goals?

I just dressed simply in my white dress and earrings. We all waited down the apartment for Mr.Arrogant. Stephan texted him the address. He was literally flirting with Ari. So I decided to leave the love couples alone by walking few steps outside the entrance.
