Lizzie is Aidan's Girl

Third person's POV:

Lizzie has always been Aidan's best friend.

But just a few months ago,

Aidan has confessed that he grew feelings for the beautiful girl.

So does Lizzie.

They have been dating for 2 months now.

But lately, Aidan is so mad at Lizzie.

Why?

Lizzie came home late from work, Lizzie was a perfectionist.
Lizzie was so busy at work that sometimes she forgots to spend some time with her boyfriend.

Aidan was totally sick of this.

He wants to have a real talk conversation with Lizzie.

He waits for Lizzie to come home, she always go for an overtime at work.

It was 11 pm when she got home.

Lizzie we need to talk.
Aidan said as soon as Lizzie walks to the kitchen.

Lizzie sat at the dining chair beside Aidan.

She asked,

About us!Lizzie I love you but I'm really getting sick of this.
You always came home late at night! Always spend your time at work! Lizzie I have work too but I manage to make some time with you but you don't even give a damn!
Liz, I don't know if you still love me or if you already found someone better than me.
You have been acting weird lately.
I saw you the other day, crying in the bathroom.
Then after crying, your angry.
What is happening Liz? Are you hiding something from me?
Aidan said , desperate to make things right between them.

A tear escaped from Lizzie's eyes.

Aidan wants to hug her, comfort her right now.
But he needs answer.

He won't be soft until he knows what's really happening.

I'm so sorry Aidan,
I didn't told you about this.
Mom died just a few weeks ago and I dont want to be pitied by anyone.
Before she died she told me that, I should handle things myself and I should be independent, I should not let my walls down.
I missed her so bad, and the only way to distract me from remembering the day she died was work.
I kept myself busy.
But everytime I come home, I still remember her.

Lizzie said. She tried to stop the tears from flowing but it won't.
She buried her head to her palms.

Aidan comforted her, he hugged her then said

God, don't you ever hid something so important to me like this.
You're suffering on your own.
You won't be able to forget the death of your mother, you need to move on Liz.
That's a way for your mother to rest peacefully.
I love you Liz, and I will always be.
Please don't hide  some things like this ever again.
I'm sorry you're going through hardships.
You'll get over it, I promise.

After saying that, Aidan held Lizzie's face then kissed her lips.

........

They lay on the bed then talked about the things which to be fixed.

Aidan now understands that Lizzie is having a hard time, and is comforting her.

They visited her mother's graveyard.

Dear mother in law, I promise that I won't stop loving your daughter until death, and I take a bullet to save her. I won't make her cry again I promise
Aidan said before leaving the graveyard.

Lizzie put some flowers on her mother's graveyard.

I love you mom, and I won't forget you
Lizzie said before leaving with Aidan.
