Shopping. Business. -Emma

"Ben, I'm really tired to go shopping right now. Its freaking Saturday let me rest a little more!"
I yelled at my gay bestfriend Benjamin, who keeps on pursuing me to go shopping with him.

"Oh my god Emma can't you live a little? You haven't bought new clothes for you the past 2 years, you're not even poor!"
I sat up straight from the couch then turned off the TV.

"I have work on Monday and I'm going to be tired again, let me rest Ben"
My voice softened as I talk to him and he gave me that "I don't care" expression.

"Bitch, go take a shower and come with me to the mall hurry up. I don't care whether you're tired, you're the CEO of your company so you can pass the work on your assistant"
He snapped at me then I rolled my eyes at him. He won't quit.

"Fine"
I mumbled then took a quick shower. I don't usually dress when going outside because I'm mostly seen in my formal wear. Business pants and suits for business woman. Ben is the only person in the world along with my cousin Thea who knows that I also have a girly attitude and habits that my employees think I don't. What scares me the most is their reaction if they see me in a dress, I've never worn dresses when I'm out in the public and I don't tolerate jokes in the office, I guess that's the reason why everyone thinks I'm a very serious and boring person.

After showering, I blow dried my hair then grabbed my usual outfit which is semi-formal business pants with a white V-neck shirt and Jacket.

"Aw hell no"
Ben said upon seeing me in the clothes.

"What you got a problem?"

"Emma Doherthy, what the fuck are you wearing? Are you going to a private meeting with important entrepreneurs?"

"So? They're used to seeing me all formal and uncasual"

He grabbed a denim shorts with a cute purple crop top with other clothes and a pair of boots.

"Are you going to be this dull forever? I'm your bestfriend Emma and you should really change. Drastic change,don't you always want to have your happily ever after with a guy that truly loves you? Well, you won't get one if you keep using formal conservative clothes"
I grabbed the clothes from him then change in the bathroom.
I literally cursed Ben in my head for being such a dick.

"Bitch I'm ready"
I told him. And he eyed me and he gave me that 'no' nod.

"What now?"

"I ain't going out looking like a goddess while my bestfriend looks like a waitress. You need to do your makeup girl"

Two hours has passed.

Now that we're at the mall, I decided to buy clothes because apparently Ben persuade me to change my lifestyle since I'm getting old yet single.

I saw a very beautiful floral off shoulder purple dress that reminded me of that dress in the magazine I saw weeks ago.
Looks like a perfect fit.
I grabbed the dress and went to Ben who is in search for his "valentines" outfit but then I bumped into this pretty hard wall. I hit it so hard that I fell to the cold ground. Or so I thought.

"Are you okay?"
I felt two strong arms around my back and waist so I immediately open my eyes. And then I met his gaze. Wasn't it a wall?

"Uh hey, are you okay?"
I regained my thoughts then stood wobbly.

"Yeah, I hit you pretty hard. Sorry for that"
I massaged my head where I bumped him. It took me a minute to appreciate his soft plump lips and tantalizing eyes with his black jet hair and sharp jawline.
Holy shit lord, pretty boi just took my breath.

"Are you seriously okay?"
He asked which brought me back to my thoughts for the second time.

"Uh you know I don't think so. I feel so dizzy"
I acted as if I feel really dizzy even though I don't. Crazy I know, but if you're in my spot you think you'd want pretty boi to just left you while he's attractive as hell? Nope.

He grabbed my arms then carried me in bridal style earning a small gasp from me. 

"Emma what happened?"
Ben saw me then eyed the guy from his head to his feet.

"She bumped into me pretty hard and she's feeling dizzy"
Pretty boy said in a concerned voice.

"Gimme her, I'll take her home"
I widen my eyes at Ben giving him the sign but he didn't notice it.

"Are you sure about that?"
Pretty boi asked but hesitant to put me in Ben's arms.

"Ben I think someone's calling on your phone"
I mumble then eyed him... He grabbed his phone then after a minute he came back to us.

"You know what I think I needed to go, take care of her for me please. Have a good time"
He said then winked at me. He left then pretty boi took me to the parking lot.

"Where are we going? I only need ice pack then I'll be fine"
He put me in his passenger seat then turn the ignition on.

"Pretty obvious what you did there. You could just tell me directly that you like me."
My cheeks felt hot and became red.

"Aidan Gallagher"
He said, I glanced at him then he smirked after looking at my tomato cheeks.

"Emma, Emma Doherty"

"Wait, Emma Doherty? No way"
He said in shock.

"You're The CEO of Danque?"

"Yeah"
I mumbled.

"I'm the CEO of Poncha"
Then it hit me.

Did I just met my company's rival?
