Gun's POV

I was walking off the stage, still reeling from the unexpected kiss that Mark gave me, when I heard the emcee calling, "Mr. Gunnapat! Don't go yet! There is one more fan who has just donated for a hug!"

I looked around.

Linda!

Linda had dropped a donation in the charity event box and was walking up the stage. She gave me a wink as she walked towards me.

I turned to look at where Title was standing and he gave me a wink as well.

These two crazies had pushed through with their crazy plan.

Linda gave me a tight hug and then tiptoed to whisper in my ear, "He's walking away. Quick, if you love him back, go after him."

Okay, last night, I had drifted off to sleep without finding the answer to my question about whether I should allow my feelings the freedom of loving back someone so much younger than I am or not.

Even when I woke up this morning, I still wasn't sure. After all, I still needed Linda's and Title's confirmation that Mark indeed has some feelings for me.

Right now, Linda's whispered words galvanized me into action. My brain, and not just my heart, was telling me, "It's now or never."

Forgetting to bow to the audience, I ran down the stage.

Shit, Mark was walking away too fast.

"Mark!" I called out.

He stopped and looked back.

When he saw that it was me, instead of waiting for me to reach him, he ran away as fast as he could.

"Mark, stop!" I called out again, but it only made him run even faster.

"Mark! Stop running! Please!" I called out, running as fast I could after him.

Fortunately, since my legs were longer than his, I eventually managed to catch up with him..

I grabbed his wrist just as he was about to enter a jewelry store.

I didn't care that there was a crowd of people staring at us.

I pulled him close and kissed him hungrily.

At first, he seemed too stunned to react, but after just a few seconds, he started kissing me back.

Our kiss would have gone on and on, but we were interrupted by a saleslady who approached us.

"Would you guys be interested in buying a pair of matching rings?"

I broke the kiss, laughing self-consciously, but Mark immediately replied, "Yes, please."

Mark looked at my astonished expression.

"What?" he asked, looking upset, "you're not going to take responsibility for that kiss???"

"Okay, don't try pulling a Kengkla on me," I said, remembering that particular scene in our LBC series where, after Kengkla had taken advantage of Techno's drunken state, he was asking Techno to take responsibility for what happened between them.

"But P'Gun, you're not drunk right now," he protested, "you knew exactly what you were doing."

"But you kissed me first!" I protested, "you kissed me without permission on the stage!"

"Okay," he said, grabbing my wrist, and pulling me into the jewelry store, "let me take responsibility for that."

Among all the different couple rings that the saleslady showed us, Mark chose two simple silver rings with aquamarine gemstones.

I asked him why he chose the ones with aquamarine gemstones.

"Aquamarine is my birthstone," he replied.

"But that's not mine!" I protested.

"If you wear the ring with the aquamarine gemstone on it, it's because I'm marking you as mine," he said, "I'm Marking you, get it?"

I just sighed. I loved him so I was going to let him get away with that, but I hoped that his possessiveness would not cause us any problems later on.
