4. Interview 💙

Kai woke up the next morning and sat on his bed. Memories came flooding back in his mind from last night.

Kai tried to shake the thoughts away and decided to go downstairs to meet the others. Kai reached the living room and was immediately greeted by the members.

Kai immediately found his eyes resting on Soobin. He looked back at Kai and their eyes locked in a stare.

As an Awkward atmosphere filled the air, Kai broke eye contact and looked down in embarrassment.

Soobin gave him a concerned look, wondering why he was acting strange like this.. but he didn't question it. He was acting strange himself too, he realized.

Bomgyu broke the awkward silence. "Uh, I just got a text. We have an interview in two hours." Bomgyu said, explaining the details.

Soobin was confused. Why didn't their manager inform him first? He's the leader after all. "Well, maybe if actually you picked up your phone, he would have informed you first." Yeonjun teased.

While they were arguing, Kai decided to eat real quick and get ready. Soobin realized that Kai had left the room and sighed. This was going to be one long interview.

As the interview started the members took their spots next to each other. Soobin wanted to stand next to Kai but Kai took his spot at the other end. He sighed. He hated it when they couldn't stand next to each other.

Soobin found himself frowning and glaring but quickly changed his expression as the camera was turned on.

TXT waved at the camera and smiled. "Hello! One Dream! We are Tomorrow x Together!" They all said in unison and struck cute poses.

As the interview went on, Soobin would take secret glances at Kai. Sometimes, Kai would do the same thing.

Kai's POV

I noticed that Soobin would glance at me from time to time and sometimes I would meet his gaze.

I don't know why, but I, for some reason, wanted him next to me at all times. The reason why I didn't stand next to him was because of the awkward atmosphere back at the dorm. I don't know if I can face him or not.

Suddenly, I feel an arm touch my shoulder. I look to my side to see that it's Yeonjun. He turns and smiles at me and I do the same. As I turn, I see Soobin's gazing in my direction. He looks very annoyed. What is going on?
