TXT: Soobin × Hueningkai Stories

Oneshot: Chance 💛

  Hueningkai was in the practice room playing "Nap of a star" on the piano. He played it with passion and found himself singing along.

What he didn't know was that Soobin was on the other side of the door, listening the whole time.

  "Wow, his voice is so beautiful.. takes my breath away.." Soobin thought. He takes a breath and walks towards Kai.

Kai is too distracted by the music to notice Soobin walking towards him. Just Kai was about to sing Soobin and his duet, Soobin started sing along with him. Kai could feel someone's presence behind him but didn't want to turn around.

Soobin was right behind him and couldn't help but stare adoringly at him. Soobin also couldn't help but wrap his arms around Kai.

Kai gasps feeling Soobin strong arms around him. "Kai, were you going to sing our duet without me?" Kai blushes hard. "I- uh.. wait. How long were you standing there?"

"For awhile. You play beautifully." Soobin compliments. Kai can't help but smile. Even just a small compliment like that means the world to Kai.

Kai turns his head which was kind of a mistake because their lips were inches apart from eachother.

  Time goes by as they stare in eachothers eyes. God, it almost feels like an eternity. Slowly, Soobin moves his hand and touches Kai's cheek, moving very close to him.

Lately, Soobin is having trouble keeping his hands off or self control down around Kai. Soobin gulps and trys to fight the urge but fails to resist the temptation to finally have the courage to kiss him or actually make a move.

Kai takes a short breath and stares up at soobin. Soobin is now leaning over Kai, one hand on his cheek and one around his waist.

Soobin swiftly lifts Kai up and carefully moves the piano bench out of the way. Kai finds himself backing up while Soobin boldly walks towards him.

Kai's back is now against the piano. Soobin was now super close that there chests were touching. Before Soobin could move any closer, Kai's hand accidently hits an few of the piano keys.

Soobin gets startled by this and jumps away, falling to the floor. "Soobin! Are you alright?" Kai says, leaning down next to him.

Soobin blushes. "Yeah.. I think so.." Soobin says, rubbing his head. Kai smiles. "Good, I'm glad!" He says and gives Soobin an quick kiss on his cheek before running off.

Soobin freezes and blinks twice. What. Just. Happened.  Soobin blushes hard and his hands on his face. He's so embarrassed. One day. Maybe one day, he'll finally get his chance.
