Kai doesn't flinch or move away from soft touch. Instead, he leans into it. The sensation of it makes Kai feel like he's floating and his eyes start to close as he slowly falls asleep.
Soobin looks down and his lips curl into a smile as he adoringly looks down at sleeping Kai. "Wow, he really does look like a cartoon character.." he thought.
Soobin realized he'd been staring for too long. "Hey guys, look. Kai's asleep." Yeonjun says, pointing to Kai. The others turn to look and react in a chorus of "Cute!"
Bomgyu takes out his phone and takes a few quick pictures. All but Soobin, the members gathered around Kai. "Look at his squishy cheeks! So cute!" They all said. Soobin felt a pang of jealousy in his chest as the members pinched Kai's cheeks one by one.
"We should end the video now, and get him in bed, alright?" Soobin says in a gentle tone, trying to keep his cool. The members agree and say their goodbyes and end the video.
All of them get up and lift Kai up and slowly and carefully lay him down on the couch. "I'll take him to his bed okay?" Soobin says and lifts Kai up into his arms before his members could say anything.
Soobin walked down the hall to their rooms carrying Kai. His arms were around Soobin's neck and his head buried in his chest, a sound of being content left his lips. At that moment, Soobin thought that Kai looked like a koala.🐨
Soobin blushed again, that sound reaching his ears as he reached their bedroom. (all the members live in one big room with bunk beds.) Soobin carefully lowered Kai to the bed and tucked him in. "Goodnight Kai, sweet dreams." He says, and walks out but not before stealing a quick glance at him.
