There is a sadness that grows within you when you don't get to see the person you love.
The time without seeing them eats away at your heart.
Every weekend that passes, every time you are denied from seeing them leaves you feeling more empty.
There comes a point when that feeling of denial makes you fear even asking. Because hearing "no" the majority of the time makes "yes" feel like a rare achievement.
It feels as though you are losing yourself, your happiness, the warmth of their love.
Because "I love you" through the phone, doesn't feel the way hearing "I love you", as they stand in front of you, does.
