part three - getting closer

Devil p.o.v

I've been signing contracts for the past
Thirty minutes, and I already managed to sign two hundred contracts - leaving me alone in my office with no more work to do.

I felt my belly grumble with hunger. I need to eat. I went to my room and opened the fridge - it was filled with rotten food.
"I should get some food from Dice." I mumbles to myself as I walked in the dark hallways until I reached a purple door with gold KD on written on it.
I gently knocked on the door, then heard a tired groan coming from inside. "W-whos that?"  a sleepy manly voice called from inside. "Dice, I have no food in my room." I answered.

The door opened and revealed a tired cubed headed man, wearing no shirt. "Dice..." I mummbled, unable to take my eyes away from Dice's chest and abs. Only a few seconds later my manager realized what happend and turned red.

"Boss I'm so sorry...!" He mummbled akwardly. He was so embarrassed...!

So sweet...!

My heart skipped a beat.
Yes, me, that evil beast.
I don't like hugs, but at that moment I just wanted to hug Dice.
"Dice~, it's alright." I said with a warm smile

Dice looked at me, blushing. We just stared at eachother.  Dice quickly ran into his room and wore a shirt. "There we go." Dice said and opened his room's door widely, letting me get in. I needed to crouch a bit so I won't harm my horns.

I've seen how Dice snickers at the situation. He's so sweet when he laughs.

"So what do we have here?" I asked my manager. He opened the fridge and looked at me. I could see some salad, cookies, and even some soup. "Oh... I'd like to have some cookies" I said
-"yeah, I just baked some, sorry if it's not that good."
-"I'm sure it's alright." I said and took three cookies. I felt how Dice watched
Me as I took a big bite out of a cookie. "Wow Dice! That's great! I've never knew you were a good baker!" I said, surprised.
"Thank you boss!" Dice said and waved at me as I went back to my fancy bedroom.
