part eleven - things are different now

Dice's p.o.v

I stared at the contract blankly, with tears forming in my eyes. "Why are you showing me this?" I asked Devil, tilting my head. "I know what happened with your parents... How you ran away from them... So I just thought I should show this to you." Devil answered, kissing me softly before sitting me on his laps while he kept working.

"Thank you for showing this to me, Devil." I said, turning my head back.
Devil smiled and sighed. "Uh Dice would you bring that paper there?" Asked devil quietly.
-"sure thing." I gave him the paper and sat back, relaxing.

I'm not used for Devil being so calm, and when he is, I like it. He is under so much pressure all the time, so seeing him calm is a lot to me.
"Dice did you had fun yesterday?" Devil asked, letting me rest my head on his shoulder, still sitting on his laps.
-"yes, It was such a nice date" I said with a big smile drawn on my face, although Devil didn't made eye contact, just talked while working.
"Good to hear I enjoyed it too."
