Chapter 1
School, oh how much fun you are. In case your wondering, I'm being sarcastic. School is nothing but drama, enemies, and school work; lots of it.
My name is Melody. But my friends call me Mel. I live with my parents, Laura and Scott. I have an brother older brother named Kyle. Kyle is older by a year and 3 months.
Tomorrow is my first day of grade 8 in a new school. I have transferred from a small school called St. Andrew's. And yes, its a Catholic school. The school had probably a little more then 100 people. It went from kindergarten to grade 8. It was a really tiny school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by farm land. I'm glad to be leaving that school for one that's bigger and in town. RCIS is a middle school inside a high school. They split the school in half. Its a really big school, well its big in this town. Its my Kyle's first year in high school. The school he's going to is an Catholic high school not far away from my new school. Its going to be the first time ever when my brother and I are not in the same school.
I have a few friends in my new school. My bestfriend Sarah goes there. During the summer, Sarah had a pool party at her house. So I know a few people from RCIS. I don't want summer to end. For going to a new school, you could say that I'm a little excited but I'm also scared shitless.
