The Beginning

Madison POV

"Wake up," "wake up Madison," dad said shaking me.

"Huh! It's so early daddy," I say waking up.

"Pack y're things we have to go," Dad said.

"But....," he left before I can finish what i was sayin'. So, I go, and pack some clothes, and my favorite stuffed animal, and went to find dad, and uncle merle. I walk out my room to see dad packin' some food. "daddy..." I say.

"Did you pack y're things Pumpkin?" dad says

"Yeah, but where are we going daddy," I asked.

"Somewhere safe pumpkin," Dad say. I didn't ask any more questions, and followed Daddy outside, and get inside Daddy truck as uncle Merle, and Daddy put Uncle Merle's bike in the bike.

"What's going on?" I asked once everyone was in the truck.

Dad stayed silence, and Uncle Merle says, "everything gonna fine bumblebee...we're just going on vacation," Uncle Merle says.

"Just go to bed pumpkin we will wake you up when we stop," Dad says.

"okay," I say grabbing my stuffed deer, and close my eyes, and go to sleep.

Couple of hours later...

"Wake up bumblebee," Uncle Merle says shaking me lightly.

I wake up, and step out of the car. "Where are we Uncle Merle?"

"We found a group not far off the city that we can stay with for now," Uncle merle says.

"Cool, so where is daddy?" I asked.

"He's over there," Uncle Merle says pointing at a tent, and I start going towards him.

"Hey daddy," I say.

"Hey pumpkin how ya feeling," dad says.

"I'm fine actually just alittle bit hungry," I say.

"Here," dad says handing me a granola bar. "While I'm setting up you can go meet some new people I heard there are some kids around your age," Dad says.

"Alright daddy," I say with a mouthful of food.

Couple Of Months Later....

"Do you really have to go hunting everyday daddy," I say.

"I do if you wanna eat tonight, but don't worry pumpkin I'll be back before you know it I promise," Dad says.

"Ok just come back as soon as you can," I say. He kisses me on the forehead, and leaves, and I go back to bed.

Next Day....

I wake up, and go get some breakfast that Lori made. "Hey Lori, and Carl," I say.

"Hey Madi," Carl says.

"Hey Madison we have some berries if you want some," Lori says.

"Thanks Lori," I say getting some berries, and eating them. I walk away to a big group with uncle merle in it. "Hey Uncle Merle."

"Hey bumblebee," Uncle Merle says picking me up.

"Where are you guys going?" I asked.

"We are going on a run into the city I'll be back soon okay, just stay in dale sight always until your dad comes back," Uncle merle says to me.
