Chapter 2

You were at the usual private hospital for an appointment you had. You recently had an MRI scan, so you got called in to go over the results.

The appointment wasn't for another hour so you made your way to the canteen to get some food.

You weren't really in the mood for anything heavy so you decided to use the vending machine instead.

Putting in your coins, you selected a KitKat bar, which then dropped down to be collected. Just as you were about to reach down to get it, you heard a voice behind you saying "excuse me?"

You quickly turned around to find the man from the convenience store, staring at you.

"You're the girl who works at the convenience store..I thought it was you!" He announced, shooting you a big smile.

"Oh hi! How are you?" You asked, hurriedly picking up your chocolate that was still in the machine.

"I'm well thanks. And yourself?" He returned.

To be honest, were quite calm despite thinking your test results came out bad, otherwise there would be no need for you to be come in. You were so used to it though.

"I'm fine." You smiled.

"What are you doing here by the way?" He softy asked, with his hand in his jean pockets.

You didn't wanna pour out your whole life story to someone you only just met, so you spared him all the details.

"I'm just here to get some results" you replied back, forcing a smile. "What about you though?"

He turned around and pointed to his other 6 members, currently sat at a table, eating. "Jungkook broke his leg"

"Ouch." You frowned. "I hope he recovers soon!"

You looked over at the other boys again. You briefly analysed all their faces. They were all extremely attractive.

"Thanks, we all do too. I'm Seokjin by the way, Jin is fine though." He spurted out.

Your attention instantly went back to jin, "I'm Y/N." You smiled, breaking off a bit of chocolate before putting it in your mouth.

"If you're not in too much of a rush, would you like to come sit with us? I can introduce you to the guys as well." He offered.

You really weren't used to this. You'd never actually had a friend before. Bullying is what you experienced throughout your whole school life, people always saw you as a freak. You definitely didn't want Jin or his members to think the same, so you decided not to tell him anything about your illness.

You briefly looked over at the other members then back at Jin, "Sure!"

Jin shot you a smile before leading you to the table where the other 6 members were seated.

You stomach suddenly sank as your nerves started running wild. They were all happy and laughing but you couldn't help but feel intimidated. Is that what it's like meeting new people?

Jin reaches the table and you stopped beside him. Most of the members were still engaged in their chat, not acknowledging that me or Jin were stood beside their table.

"Hey hyung! Who's your friend?" A blonde haired guy asked, giving you a boxy smile.

The rest of the members stopped their conversation and turned towards Jin and you. Mainly looking at you. You couldn't help but gulp.

"Guys, this is Y/N. Be nice." He chuckled.

The guy that said something before spoke out, "hey, I'm Taehyung"

Jin introduced you to the other members, Yoongi, Namjoon, Jimin, Jungkook and Hoseok.

You stayed with them for a while, chatting and getting to know them. They all made you feel really comfortable which you were really grateful for.

You almost lost track of time, forgetting about your appointment, "Hey guys, I need to get going. It was great meeting you all!"

"Too too Y/N!" Smiled Namjoon.

"Aw, see you next time." Waved Hoseok.

You bid them goodbye and headed to your appointment.
