Your whole life you had been seriously ill. The doctors couldn't exactly diagnosis you with a condition, it was just too complicated. You were always in and out of the hospital, trying new meds and having frequent operations. Your mental state was on the rocks as well. Not to mention you had no friends.

You never had any time for university or yourself for that matter. Even going to work was such a struggle, considering you were consistently in hospital.

All you wanted was to be a normal 22 year old; have some decent friends, a career and a partner by you side. But you knew that wasn't going to happen.

There was a point in your life when you really considered ending it; all the pain and suffering. That was of course before he came along.

Present Day

The pain was unbearable. Not the pain from your condition, but the pain your heart was feeling; the pain he caused.

2 Years Earlier

You were doing one of your late shifts at the convenience store; cleaning counters and stacking shelves.

The store hadn't been too busy today, and it currently had no customers.

As you were sat at the cashier, revising over some uni work that you had. You most likely wouldn't be handing it in anyways but you thought you would do it to pass time. A tall, slim man walked in and headed straight to the utility isle. He had silky black hair, and his shoulders were extremely broad. He was dressed in an expensive suit, and had a very attractive face to top everything.

He had been in the same isle for a few minutes now, so you offered him your assistance.

"Do you need help with anything?" You asked, whilst putting down your pen.

He looked back in your direction and responded, "Yes. Where do you keep your bottle openers?"

You came out from behind the counter and led him to the right section, "This way."

He thanked you and you calmly walked back to your place behind the counter, beginning to read and write again.

A few minutes later he approached you at the cashier, placing the bottle opener and a few beers on the counter.

You scanned each of his items whilst asking, "Is it a special night?"

"It is yes. My other members and I won an award this evening, so we're going to celebrate." He chuckled and got out his wallet to get out his bank card to pay for his stuff.

His members? Is he in a band or something?

"Oh that's cool. Are in a boy band?" You queried.

"Yeah. We're called BTS. There's 7 members, including myself." He smiled proudly but not cockily. "Speaking of them, I really do need to get going. They're all waiting for me!"

"Of course! Congratulations by the way!" You voiced, before handing him the stuff he just purchased.

He retrieved the bag from you. "Thanks" he replied, and then left.

You watched and waved as he left. You enjoyed meeting and talking to new people, especially handsome ones like him. It was a shame you didn't get his name.
