Tea and Icecream

Maxx and Cody finished their breakfast. And Cody finally took Maxx downtown to their favorite small café. But it can be hard getting there, as there are some very stuck up people in LA.

"So Maxx what are you getting?"

"I dunno, maybe a latte." Maxx replied with a shrug.

"The green tea here is amazing. Lets both get that and some icecream!" Cody cheerily suggests.

"Sounds good-" Maxx is cut off by a Waitress with short black hair.

"Hi! Im Karen, how may i help you today?" She asks politely

"Hi. I would like 2 green teas and 2 small vanilla icecreams." Cody said.

"Sure thing!" The Waitress skips away somewhere.

"She seems nice." Maxx says with a smile.

"You can never trust ANYONE out here, Maxxie."

"Oh c'mon Cody it cannot be that bad."

"Maxx you're being a bit naive, dont you think?"

"Im NOT naive. What's your issue?" Maxx was getting mad. And Cody hated seeing him mad.

"No no no! Thats not what i ment Maxxie-"

"Here you go!" The overly cheerful Waitress places their order on the table they were sitting at, then walks away to another table.

"Whats up with her?"

"What Cody, people can't be happy?"

"I never said that." Cody coldly says back.

BIG MISTAKE.

"Why are you being so bitter?!" Maxx hissed.

"Quit harassing him. I could treat him so much better than you could."

To Cody's suprise, it was Austin Kerr and all of his douchey glory. Maxx's abusive ex, and overall the worst human being in existence.

"Screw off. He's my boyfriend." Cody said as he took a sip of his tea.

Maxx just gives Cody a terrified expression while mouthing: "Baby, do something! You know how he can get!!"

"Why should i? Its a public place." Austin asks with a smirk.

"Just get away from us!" Cody answered angrily.

Cody was done. He took his icecream and threw it at Austin. Then took Maxx's hand and left.

"Babe im so sorry!" Cody apologetically says to Maxx as they get in the car.

"..."

No response.

"Maxxie,"

"Don't call me that!" The angry and upset blonde snapped back at him.

"Do you want me to leave you alone for now?" Cody asked quietly, putting the car in drive.

"Yeah! So dont talk to me until we get home." Maxx growled.

"Okay babe. Just please take your time."
