memories of murder

snitches get stitches

[ 9:31 am ]
i walk into my room and tori is on the phone with her boyfriend. they've been dating for like two months now. i tell her to get ready because cam is coming to take us to the police station.

[ 9:57 am ]
cam pulls up. me and tori run out and i get in the passenger seat, and tori gets in the middle seat in the back. cam turns around and holds his hand out to her "what's up i'm cam." tori smiles and shakes his hand, "i know, you're like the best basketball player on the team." cam just laughs. i asked cam earlier if we could pick up tori's boyfriend too.

[ 10:22 am ]
we finally get to the police station. my stomach is literally growling, i'm so funny. cam hears and says "we can get food after this." we all get out of the car and walk into the police station. they take us into the questioning room, one by one. they take tori first. i can see through the little window through the door, she's crying. cam squeezes my hand. then they call me in. i go to go in and cam won't let go of my hand. "what?" i say. he just looks at me, "it'll be ok." and then he let's go. i walk in and the detective slams the door behind me. there's one a table and two chairs, well and a camera in the corner.
detective : what's your name?
me : miah, miah black.
detective : how old are you?
me : 15, im a sophomore.
detective : so your friend tori told me about some tapes. confession tapes. can you tell me where you found them?
me : i found them in alexia wilkins room, under her vanity, in some plastic draws.
detective : why were you at the house?
me : she was throwing a party.

i see cam peeking in through the window, he holds up a thumbs up.

detective : did anything strange happen at this party?
me : no..well yes, alexia completely disappeared for about a hour, she said she was going to get more drinks.
detective : when she came back did she have drinks with her?
me : no
detective : ok what time did you leave?
me : a few minutes before 11pm.
detective : ok now tell me about the murder you saw outside of waffle house.
me : it was 1 am and cam wanted to take me to waffle  house. so we get there and order our food and we sit in the booth closet to the windows, a clear view of the woods. then i saw alexia outside the window, the only reason i recognizes her is because her hair was frizzy just like on the confession tapes. she pulled a knife out of her back pocket, it looked like a butchers knife. she had this person tied to a tree. i couldn't recognize them, but they had red hair. i think it was a girl. she stabbed right where there heart is. then she walked over to the window and smushed her face into it and blood was smudged all over it. cam pulled me to his car and then we left.
detective : ok thank you, we will call you back if we need you. you may leave.
me : ok goodbye.

i walk out the door and sit down beside cam. then the entrance to the police station open. alexia walks in with handcuffs, "i didn't do it, i promise." she screams trying to escape. then she passes us and stops. "snitches get stitches" she quietly says. i slide closer to cam, he puts his arm around my waist. "you will pay for this, all of you, even you tori." and then the police push her to keep walking.

the police call cam in also.

[ 11:01 am ]
we leave and go to cici's pizza. we are all so hungry. we get in and sit down. i grab a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese. then i go get a drink, pepsi, cause i have a headache, it's not that bad though. we all eat in silence, and just stare at each other. finally cam says "so who did she say she murdered, in the tapes." i tell him we didn't watch all of it, only the first five minutes. "well who has been murdered or gone missing this past year." tori chimes in and says. dustin, tori's boyfriend, says "elysia king." cam says, "clarke bannister, safiya chambers, adriana chambers, meg vazquez, emer dyer, aisling hawkins, and milana mccarthy." they're all girls.

cam : they're all in my grade, 11th.
me : do they have anything in common?
cam : well elysia, safiya, and milana were on the cheer squad.
tori : wait, alexia tried out and didn't make it..were they like captains are something.
cam : milana was, elysia and safiya are her best friends.
me : makes sense...
dustin : so what about the rest of them?
tori : well adriana stole her boyfriend in 10th grade. i remember one day she said something to meg and meg stood up to her.
dustin : so that leaves us with, clarke, emer, and aisling.
tori : i don't know about them, i can ask alexias boyfriend though.

[ 12:34 am ]
we all get in the car and cam drops me and tori off at my house and dustin walks to his from mine since he lives 5 minutes away. me and tori are home alone. tori goes to get a shower, and i just lay across my bed, scrolling through my instagram feed. the phone rings, it's the police department. "hello, we are just calling to inform you that alexia is the only suspect her friends taylor and lily are also guilty, and her boyfriend, ty. they're still lose, we are working on finding them." then they hung up. about two minutes later cam facetimes me. we talk for a few minutes and then i hear a thud downstairs, my mom isn't here and tori is in the shower. "hey i'm gonna go check it out." i say and start to walk out. "wait! take me with you, just incase." he says. i grab my phone and slowly walk down the stairs. i turn the corner and there's someone in my kitchen. they have on a black mask, and they grab a knife. i try and walk closer but trip and fall to the ground. they hear me and come toward me with the knife. my phone slides across the floor. "miah? miah? are you okay?" i can hear cam screaming. the person comes towards me, and stabs the knife into my shoulder blade, i scream. the person keeps stabbing me. then everything goes black...
