Once again she spent nearly the whole evening at his place. She looked at her wrist with the bracelet placed tightly around.
She had the urge to slightly smile.
To think someone had cared about her this much. It filled in the gap her friends and family could not give her.
The girl then had a thought, too scandalous for the average person.
She remembered Namjoon's words to go far away. She didn't know whether it was literal or figurative.
However, that's what she wanted to do. It wasn't the fact that she wanted to run away, but she wanted the better version of her.
The motivation burned through her veins, a feeling she hadn't felt since a long time. She was hopeful.
Then she ran, ran so fast that the adrenaline pumped blood to her sad heart.
She ran into her apartment feeling relieved that her dad wasn't there. She bolted to her room to find a large bag and placed all her clothes in.
As she pulled something from her dresser, an envelope fell out on the floor.
She picked it up and opened it. Inside was money and a small picture of her mother smiling. A picture she pulled from the photo album before her dad ripped all the pictures out.
Mom, I think you're daughter is coming back.
