Jiae's POV
I'm home, finally. It's not as happy of a reunion as I had hoped but... It's new scenery at least.

I still haven't spoken to Jimin since that night. Honestly, I couldn't care less.
...is something I wish I could say.

His words hurt more than I'm willing to admit and I had no intentions of forgiving him currently.

On the other hand I've been getting calls from a girl named Minjee. She seemed excited that I was back in town. I wish I could say I remembered her but I don't. I went through my phone looking at all the different texts and conversations. We seemed really fond of each other. I wanted to know more so I invited her over. She should be here soon.

The doorbell rang and I got a text from Minjee saying she was here. By this time my parents had gone back to work and the only people home were Jimin and I. I rolled my chair to the door and opened it.

I smiled. She, on the other hand, looked devastated.

"J-Jiae you're...." She was speechless as her eyes darted between me, the chair, and my weak legs.

"Oh, you... You're probably not used to seeing me like this are you? C-come in I'll explain everything...to the best of my ability. I'm not sure how many details I remember."

I noticed she had an Android with her. But considering how common they were I wasn't shocked.

"Can you walk?" Minjee said.

The question stung but I answered.

"A bit. I still stumble."

"Sorry. That was insensitive of me. So... Do you remember me at all?" She asked softly.

"No, sorry. I didn't remember anyone at first."

"So you had total amnesia?"

I nodded.

"Okay, wow I just... Give me a minute."

I neglected to tell her the extent of my condition over the phone. I told her my memory was cloudy. That was it.

She hung her head low, and I could hear slight sniffles. The Android beside her gave her a few reassuring pats and rubs on her back. After about a minute she straightened up.

"I didn't mean to cry. I just... Can't believe what I'm hearing." She chuckled.

"I know it's a lot to take in. I should have told you. I'm sorry."

The Android looked apprehensive but he quickly spoke.

"I will... Give both of you some space. Ms. Jiae do you know where Jimin might be?" He asked.

"He should be upstairs somewhere. Just have a look around." I replied shortly.

He nodded and left leaving us to our conversation.

"So what happened to your memory?" She asked.

"I hit my head on the way down from the blast." I replied.

"T-the blast?" Minjee asked nervously.

I held my shirt up to let her see the gigantic scar stretching the extent of my ribs.

"Holy shit... A-and your legs?" She muttered.

"Severe atrophy."

"Please.... Tell me everything."

Jimin's POV

I heard a knock at the door. I was in Mr. Kim's office since... Jiae wanted nothing to do with me anymore.
