"Dahlia your going to miss your flight if we don't leave anytime sooner!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs for what I would probably count as the five hundredth time. I just rolled my eyes and rushed down (not so quietly)the stairs followed by my suitcase. Once reach the bottom I see my mom already standing near the door with two coffees in to-go-cups. "Come on were going to be late!"

After a lousy three hours of sitting in a car and jamming out to The 1975 (on my own) we reached the airport and I got more nervous every time we got closer I have traveled before but not on my own though. Which made me scared don't get me wrong I love airplanes but security always makes me nervous.
"Sweetheart we're here." My mom said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Goodbye honey,make sure not to forget to call me when you land.OKAY!"
She yelled as I went through security.
"YES I'LL REMEMBER!!!! BYE LOVE YOU!!!" I yelled getting a few stares from strangers but what new I guess.
security wasn't too bad they didn't have anything wrong which I'm happy about.

A few minutes passed and I was in a plane putting my carry-on in the over head compartments then I laid down in my seat (a window seat if your wondering) and put my arm over my eyes and fell asleep.

After goodness knows how long we finally landed in Sydney. After I went through security. I saw a person holding a sign that said:

And I looked up to see who was holding the sign it was my older brother.
"Hello Butt face." He said as he hugged me so tight I could probably feel my crappy airplane food come out.
"Hello Mitchell." If your wondering yes I do come up with the better comebacks but at the moment I was sooooo tiered.
"Oooooo good one sis."
"Shut up I'm too tired to do this right now."
"Okay. Lets go then shall we." He said pulling away from the hug.

We finally reached Michaels apartment complex and I'm really excited to see what his done with his place or see if it's at least clean.
We reached his door and I watched him as he dug for his keys in his pocket.
"Bingo!"
"Wow." Was all I said when i saw his apartment.
"Welcome to me casa." He said gesturing to his apartment which I have to say doesn't seem to shabby but it needs a little more work.
It was cozy a little three bedroom apartment with a big kitchen and living area and two bathrooms . It also smelt like cheap vanilla air freshener which was not to strong but just right.
"I'm gonna love it here." I mumbled as I inhaled the vanilla smelling air.
